2 Thessalonians 2:3    It says the man of sin won't be reveled except their be a falling away be first . It can be called apostasy or rebellion. The question is how will we know when it begins or ends. There is no time frame. There may  be varying opinions. How will we know it is happening?  Opinions please

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Don’t be fooled by anything they might say. That day of the Lord will not come until the turning away from God happens. And that day will not come until the Man of Evil appears, the one who belongs to hell. He will stand against and put himself above everything that people worship or think is worthy of worship. He will even go into God’s Temple and sit there, claiming that he is God.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭ERV

Maybe we will know when we see the man from verse 4 appear.

"apostasia" for me its not that easy to define as fallen away for there are some that say its defined as "take out, departing, departure". Not worth getting into if someone says "it just means fallen away". Some really great men of God that are not pre trib and in this case get into Greek.. classic Greek so forth. Then will have to say things like "My own position is #". Because no one can say "it only means". Many use to to help their personal believe when it comes to "Caught up". You know your pre-trip so it means were taking out of here before the lawless one comes. Or post trib its a great fallen away as we can see right now..which is not true if your in China or the like.. more and more are coming to Christ like never before..not fallen away

No-one can predict the specific point in time when the mystery of iniquity now at work will reach its zenith unrestrained, hence the mystery.

Countries presently strive to maintain their "national identities" but for iniquity to be completely unrestrained worldwide, I believe the "global identity" agenda will need to be more advanced than it currently is.

As for who discloses the man of sin's identity, to whom they disclose it, and by what means is unknown, but it won't happen until things get a lot more dystopian.

I believe we need to watch the UN closely. There will have to be a uniting of nations to establish a stage for the man of sin. by which  10 will agree to unite under one authority and at a point of power will commit the abomination of desolation. We will then have his identity. My thinking is many Christians will faint and fall away from the faith. when they see what is happening.

I'm not pre trib but post. that is a thread  of its own. Scripture is always addressing the church as a whole.  In Rev 13 when we are warned about the MARK it is speaking to all of us. Then read Rev 15   we see the victorious Bride After that will be the judgment Chapter 16.

If your paying attention to Christian world events, and your aware of what's happening in todays Christian culture,  especially in the "Bible Belt" area, the falling away isn't just about the number of people leaving the church in mass as an exodus, to reject what the church has become. but there is an exodus also, because the truth has been betrayed, and for those FEW called by God as the Remnant, are given the ability to know the truth, so that it can be recognized easily by the FEW.

The falling away started during Paul's time in 1st Cor., but now if you study the statistics on the internet, todays numbers of those falling away are shocking, but as God predicted.

It's all there. All you have to do is research topics to find the truth of God's word coming alive, for all of us who want to know.

Not brain  surgery for those who God opens their eyes, for what is revealed to the REMNANT!

And then there are those who assert that the falling away from truth began with the establishment of Papal Rome, and the man of sin is none other than he who occupies the office of Pope.

Food for thought . . . annoys the tar out of die-hard Roman Catholics.

Then seeing as it is an undoubted truth that there are but a few - a remnant - that are eyes wide open and ears to hear - how much more important that they all fully embrace the Cross and set their faces to suffer for the sake of Christ that Christ be glorified in the many who are His sheep. If not we ourselves will be found to have boasted in vain.

How will we know it is happening?

you mean you are not aare of the growing hostility and rejection of Christianity in society?

Count the number of seats in your church, now cout how many houses in the square mile around it.

Is your church running multiple services on a Sunday to fit people in or are there empty seats?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
