Our Guardian Angels Watch Over Us.
By JAG
September 18,2021

Based on . . .
Matthew 18:1-10
Hebrews 1:14
Psalms 34:7
many have concluded that each of we Christians have
at least one, or more, Guardian Angles that are assigned
to watchcare and protect us during our lifetime.

Matthew 18:10
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones.
For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see
the face of my Father in heaven."

Hebrews 1:14
"Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those
who will inherit salvation?"

Psalms 34:7
"The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and he delivers them.".

The context of Matthew 18:1-10 requires that we interpret
Matthew 18:10's "one of these little ones" to be a reference
to we adult Christians. (Jesus is telling adults to take the
lowly place of children, that is to become properly humble).

So?

So we adult Christians are in that group that have "angels
in heaven" ~~~ ("their angels in heaven." Matthew 18:10)

So?

So based upon Matthew 18:1-10 and Hebrews 1:14 and
Psalms 34:7 ~~ we Christians DO have Guardian Angels
that watch over us. Its NOT . . . ONLY . . . young children
that have Guardian Angles that watch over them.

Of course, our Guardian Angels start their protecting work,
watching over us, when we are very young.

The world of Angels is as real as it gets.

There is an unseen world out there that
you can't see, that is actually more real
than this world that you can see.

How so?

Well, the people and most of the things
of this world are in the process of dying
or rotting or rusting away, but the people
and things of That Other World Heaven
are not. dying rotting, and rusting away.

That which is NOT dying, rotting, and rusting
away, is more real than that which IS dying,
rotting, and rusting away. Notice I said
"more real." This world IS real, but
That Other World Heaven is more real.

So Angels are as real as it gets.
You can't see them, but they can see you.
They know who you are. they know your
name and they know where you live.

And they like you ~
actually its reasonable to believe they love
you . Why? Because they would love what
God loves and God loves you.

Here is a list of some Bible verses/passages
if you ever want to "do a read up" on what
the Bible has to say about Angels:

Luke 15:10
Psa. 103:20
Ex.23:20
Psa 91:11
Luke 1:19
Judges 6:11-12
2 Kings 6:15-17
Acts 10:4
Acts 12:7-9
Dan. 9: 21-23
Matt. 1:18
Gen 24:40
Gen 19:1-11
Matt. 13:41-42

Thoughts?

Seems reasonable. "as in heaven, so on the earth". In today's prosaic and non-supernatural worldview, fostered by a scared church, there is much in the cosmos that is reflected on earth during our short lives.

Since the Lord Yeshua(Jesus) is Lord of all, we are under His wing and nothing happens to us by chance. I have been involved in a couple of encounters and can attest to supernatural events that defy our earth born reality. To the Lord High God EVERYTHING is supernatural - and our physical cosmos reflects this.

Caution: never 'pray' to angelic beings or the hosts of heaven. They are our servants and friends. We only worship the Lord High God and Him only do we serve!

The Bible doesn't say that each Christian has an angel assigned to us. God does use angels to accomplish His purpose.

There have been times when I thought perhaps the Lord had dispatched an angel to help and times when I have asked the Lord to do so---but I suspect, with the latter--He was ahead of me on the deal.

THe reality according to clear scripture is that He is never absent from His own.

One time years ago, we were driving mid-winter across the prairie in Canada in a blizzard...with young children. We were near out of gas and hoping a gas station was close. There were prayers. We literally ran out of gas and then rolled into a gas station as pretty as could be.

There was much joy and worship.

That's true.

However, its reasonable to conclude from the following . . .

Perhaps those that willingly turn away from the supernatural and refuse to see God's hand at work might not feel as many of us do.

The supernatural is not like Milton's 'Paradise Lost' or other insipid churchy tales . Rather it is a true reality and should be embraced wholeheartedly as His Everlasting Kingdom and Domain.

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. (Hebrews 13:2 NKJV)

Apart from visions where our fellow servants are revealed with regard to their estate, I have encountered messengers and helpers from the Lord at various times and places. A distinction ought to be made regarding the term "angel," which is loosely defined as messenger in the scriptures. Regardless of whether the angel in question possesses a body like our risen Lord or toils in this flesh, all are servants of the Most High God.

Any servant of Jesus Christ who comes in His name in accordance with His purpose and will, then, can be an angel sent by the Lord. I'll share an experience to demonstrate the reality of this truth so the reader might understand.

Many years ago I heard the voice of the Lord who said, Rise up and make your way to the Hill (a particular location where I lived), where you shall meet My angel. Unbeknownst to me, at the same time a dear brother in Christ heard the voice of the Lord who told him, Rise up, gather the oil, and make your way to the Hill where you shall anoint one whom I love.

It was nighttime under the stars when we encountered each other on the Hill. We exchanged greetings and my brother said, "The Lord told me to come here and anoint one whom He loves. You are that one." I was astonished and said, "The Lord told me to come here and meet His angel. You are His angel." My brother proceeded to anoint me with the oil in his horn, speaking words which came to pass many years later.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
