Hi angels4u,

I can see why people would think that however God has told us who those 2 witnesses are. Being His witnesses they will have to witness of what they have seen and heard concerning Jesus, His life, death, resurrection and ascension.

Now we know that God wrote His whole book, and when He writes who 2 men are in one part then we can fully know who these are when they are mentioned in other parts concerning the Lord.

We have been told in God`s word who these 2 men are. They are Moses & Elijah. They witnessed Christ`s transfiguration where He told them of His soon departure from the earth. They were also at the tomb & witnessed Christ`s resurrection, & later ascension into glory.

Mount Transfiguration -  `behold 2 men talked with Him (Christ), who were Moses & Elijah,....` (Luke 9: 30)

The Tomb -  `behold, 2 men stood by them in shining garments.`  (Luke 24: 4)

The Ascension -  `while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, Behold, 2 men stood by them in white apparel,`  (Acts 1: 10)

Thus we see these same 2 men now appearing to Israel during the second half of the tribulation witnessing of Christ, not only as their soon coming King but also as their High Priest, the one who gave His life for them, & arose victorious over sin & death.

Many believe Enoch/Elijah will be the (Two Witnesses) of Revelation 11, this is based around they never experienced a physical death, and will experience this death in the future tribulation

Moses died and was buried in Moab  Deuteronomy 34:5-7

And who buried Moses? God did. And `no one knows his grave to this day.` (Deut. 34: 6) Thus God took Moses.

As to being `appointed to die,` yes however God can step in as He wills for His purposes.

Your claim is error, Moses physically died and was buried

Deuteronomy 34:5-7KJV

5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. 7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Notice the Lord buried him. Thus the Lord has his body.

`Michael the archangel in contending with the devil, when he (the devil) disputed about the body of Moses,...` (Jude 9)

The devil tried to lay claim to the body of Moses, however Michael the archangel, with God`s authority took ownership of Moses body.

Moses "Died" physically as scripture clearly states "When He Died"

Deuteronomy 34:7KJV

7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Yes he died and his spirit was taken with Christ at His ascension, to the General assembly where he is with all the other spirits of `just, righteous men and women.` (Heb.12: 23)

God later will give Moses and Elijah their earthly bodies for them to witness of Christ to Israel during the trib.

Truth7t7,

Any reason you did not just deal with my statements about the measuring rod, temple of God, the alter of God, those who worship there?

Did you for some reason think that I was not aware of those passages you cited? I was only working with Rev. 11:1...nothing else at this point, as I said one step at a time. I was simply asking "whoever" to consider my thoughts.

It's my opinion your reading into scripture things not seen

Nothing states Jesus took Moses anyplace, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord

Part 1 in an abbreviated writing about the "two witnesses"

“Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.”  Rev 11:1 NASB

Measuring rod like a staff – This refers to Christ as the standard of measurement, if it measures up to the standard of Christ...it is Christ, nothing else. All are measured against Him, those who measure up to the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ, are growing up in all aspects into Him who is the head. Those who don’t…well…you know...

What is John measuring?

·“The temple of God” – This refers to those in whom the Holy Spirit dwells

·“The Alter” – the alter represents sacrifice, the sacrificial lives of those being measured

·“Those who worship in it” – This is reference to “Christ the body”

It’s the Kingdom of God in heaven and on earth. Those that are dead in Christ are with Him, the rest are alive on the earth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
