How to be successful nowadays?

•    “Jehovah by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding he established the heavens.” (Proverbs 3.19).

First of all, we need to know how the things work. It’s extraneous we concoct something, give vent to our desires and dreams, if this doesn’t bolster what Jesus planned for this world.

One of the greatest errors that people commit is to think about altering the world. The Creator cautioned us against this:

•    “My son, fear thou Jehovah and the king; And *company not with them that are given to change:*” (Proverbs 24.21).

Perhaps you reply: “but, and if the authority is authoritarian and bad?”.

Understand: the world is changed and doesn’t require more changes. What it needs is to come back to the original project of the Creator. Take into consideration that the Earth and the heavens was founded and established by wisdom and understanding, our role is to be pillar and ground of the truth (1Timothy 3.15).

It’s imperative that we know Jesus and His Word better and follow after this, instead of fawning over people trying to win them over and lead them to waive their rights and to do what looks like good at our eyes.

So, instead of fooling around dallying in picayune things, let’s seek out precious days inside the Holy Scripture, namely, giving room and time in our heart so that Jesus can uncover the true life that He yearn for living in us by His power acting in our spirit (Ephesians 3.20).

Galatians 1:10

For am I now trying to win the favor of people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ.

Matthew 6:24

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

I think as a Christian success and the ultimate Goal is to be as close to Christlike as possible, a huge hurdle as we are born into and conditioned into sin   But I feel that is the Brass ring we reach for in our journey with our Father because we died and try to shed that old worldly  ?  skin from our new bodies

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.??

Bearing much fruit to the intent that The Father is glorified, is the true essence of being a successful born again Christian. It is more about who God wants us to be, and not merely doing what we think God wants us to do. If we become who God wants us to be (character), He will empower us and guide us to do what He wants us to do (service). This can only be accomplished as we abide in Him.

John 15:7-8 (KJV)
7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8  Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

the world defines sucess different than those who follow Christ. The world says its who has the most or who is the best. For the believer we know that  God does not measure sucess by the worlds standard. God measures sucess but endurance to stay the course. Paul in Timonthy before he was to be executed

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

This is not about being first but staying the course and never giving up to gain heaven and to see Christ. The race is not always easy. There are many stumbling blocks that discurage us from being able to cross the Finish line

I like this discription of a cross country race. Serveral racers are approaching the finish line but one looked back and saw a fellow racer who had fallen and was hurt so that he was not able to complete the race. With the winning of the race right before him he stopped while the others kept going, but this man went back and seeing his fellow racer was not able to stand he picked him up and carried him the rest of the way. This is the true success .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
