Nebula and Shadow2B,

Very good questions Nebula . . . I like that:)

I will address your comments and questions as soon as time permits. While I have spoken on this subject countless times I have written very little regarding it. I also have some links concerning Pearl Harbor which I think you will find interesting.

Remember, a preemptive strike is intended to be a mortal wound . . . whether it is or not.

Peace,

William

. . . It is an interesting train of logic you are following here. There are many things that to me make sense, yet other things which do not.

Comparing Pearl Harbor to the fatal wound which was healed - that seems like a big stretch to me. I'm not an historian, but I do not believe this attack went down on record as being a fatal wound to America from which it was healed - a serious wound, maybe, but not fatal. Besides, the Navy is only one branch of the armed services, and I am not so sure that a wound to one branch of the armed services could be considered a fatal blow to the entire country . . .

Greeting Nebula,

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. Hope things have been well with you and yours.

Concerning Pearl Harbor . . . I feel many people/Christian under estimate the significance of Pearl Harbor. There are many spiritual laws that have been transgressed by this country's leaders . . . For some time now. I have provided you with some links concerning Pearl Harbor below for your consideration.

Well, that's OK you took your time - I kind of laid out a lot of questions for you to sort through.

Like Shadow2Be, I can appreciate the work you put into this. Although I appreciate your response, I still do not see it panning out as you have interpreted it.

What bothers me the most is that some of your claims go against what other spiritual authorities are saying regarding the current times. I don't mean about the interpretation of the eighth beast as being a nation rather than the "person" of "the Anti-Christ" as has always been interpreted, or even the Beast that comes out of the Earth, called "the false prophet" in Rev. 19:20, being the leader of that nation.

A cry has been sounded. The heart of God desired for his people to intercede for then President Clinton to become truly born-agian. Instead, we yelled at him, we criticized him, we made fun of him, we tore him to shreds, we mocked him. Some said, but we did pray for him!" Sure, "Lord, do something about that dirty, rotten sinner!" Is that a prayer of fragrant incense before the Lord?" Or others actually would pray sincerely, "Lord, save this man who desperately needs you!" But then they would go around spreading derogatory "Clinton jokes" and still go about slandering him. I know I was guilty, and when I heard this cry that it was the Lord's desire for us to truly intercede for him, but that we failed, I was stricken to the heart. But it still took me a long time to lay aside the slander. I wonder how many others really took this to heart in even a small measure.

The current cry I have heard is that President Bush is our last chance. If we don't cry out to God for this man, we've really screwed up bad and big time. We, the Church, are supposed to be salt and light to the world - not hiding in our homes from the evil of the world waiting for Jesus to come and take it all away. As romantic as the image of the handsome prince battling his way to the tower and slaying the dragon to save the princess locked in the tower is, this is not what Jesus wants for Him and His bride. Remember, the Kingdom of God is in us! He wants to build the Kingdom through us! We need to be advancing the Kingdom here on Earth, now and throughout our lives. How can we advance th Kingdom if we are crying out Evil! Evil! and Sin! Sin! all over the place? If we just shine the light, the light will do its own job in exposing the darkness!

The cry of the Lord that I have heard is for us to diligently seek the lord in prayer over Pres. Bush, to continually bring him before the throne of God, for him to seek the Lord himself, for him to make wise decisions, stuff like that. None of this fits with him being the Beast. I don't know all that is going on with the Mid-East (after Desert storm, I learned to be careful in jumping to any conclusions too quickly), nor with this Roadmap to Peace plan. But I do know that this is all the more proof that we need to earnestly seek the Lord for Pres. Bush and the decisions he is making - for the enemy would greatly desire to use him for his purposes, be they great or small. We can't let this happen to him, to our beloved nation. We need to fight for this nation! How can we say, "Well, the U.S. is the eighth beast, therefore doomed to destruction, therefore we'll just let it go to its evil ways,..."? No! This is not the cry of the Lord that is being sounded! We've got to fall on our faces before the Lord and cry out for this land! For our president! For our Congress! For our Supreme Court! For our state governments and legislatures! For our county governments and legislatures! For our schools! For our friends, neighbors, family members! How can we just let these perish?

Shine the light and let the light take care of the darkness. Just shine the light.

Amen Nebula, God is not willing that any should perish. Pray . . . but pray for their salvation. Prophecy is prophecy. It is what it is. Not one word of God's will fail . . .

Remember though . . . nations are but dust in the scales of God . . . nothing but dust. Seek first the kingdom of God.

Peace.

William

Thank you for answering as you did.

But I have to ask - why are you convinced President Bush is not saved?

BTW - "The spiritual authorities" I was refering to are prophets. See here for an example.

Interesting question . . . perhaps you could share why you are so convinced that he is . . .

Nebula,

I found the link you provided to be laced with presumption and vain speculation, not to mention some which I feel was blasphemy . . .

The last paragraph is a good example and it really bothered me . . . here's the first part -

Well, when someone shares their "born-again" experience, I tend to believe him/her. Then when other Christians who have interactions with this person affirm this faith in that one, I tend to believe them as well.

I have heard both with President Bush.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
