That's not an interpretation;that's delusional, wishful, and eisogetical thinking. In other words, it is a fantasy with no basis in fact.

Ever hear of the Bereans?

You know the ones who took time to reason things through and consider them before mocking it?

Sorry you still haven't learn to play well with others. You're like the kid who can't build a sand castle so he just kicks the other kid's.

Go ahead, start your thread.

I promise I will read it.

As far as the two horned beast and the buffalo theory goes. It contradicts other verses of prophecy and doesn't meet the bilical criteria for the beast.

Would you please explain to which verses you refer and such?

(Seriously - I'm not "hooked" on any theory. So I would be interesting in hearing what evidences you have to say here.)

Why don't you start a thread on your perspective then?

I doubt you even read this one.

What's your problem? I simply replied to "Is America missing in prophecy" like everyone else and this is what I get?

And how do you know what I've read or have not read?

What's your problem with my reply?

Have you read it? C'mon, tell the truth. Did you?

See, you didn't address anything in the OP, you simply made your own comments about what you think . . . with no scriptural back up.

Since this is my thread, I started it . . . I simply would like it (the OP - original posts) to be discussed . . . that's all.

Gee, I didn't know there was a yardstick on discussing the Word of God. I'll have to remember that.

Come on guys, you know when you are being condescending towards your brothers. If you have any doubts, see my first sentence in this reply :noidea: I'm a hypocrite. Just blame me and move on :amen: Shake and make up!!

Actually BlindSeeker, I did read the entire thread, and methinks you presume too much :noidea: (but I forgive you your snippy answer, perhaps you had a bad hair day :amen: )

About your fellow Worthies reading posts, and your comment that the USA are the mighty men. That's an opinion, not a statement of fact as you wrote it. It just happens to be an opinion that I disagree with, and I asked you to elucidate.

You did this, and I still think that this is a verrrry long stretch of the imagination with absolutely not one shred of biblical evidence. It appears that other posters (and yes I did read them), hold the same view.

Mat 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

Mat 5:35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Mat 5:36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

Mat 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Mat 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Mat 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

Mat 5:41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

Mat 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Thanks for the correction Profit, and forgive me Blindseeker, for attributing the Mighty men thing to you. But I guess I am "old School" in believing that none of what has been discussed on this post really matters to us. (that is what I was beginning to allude to in my replies)

Love Jesus, follow His light, walk His walk, and leave the rest up to God, is what I ascribe to. Who can understand the workings of God, and why should we drive ourselves dilly trying to explain the unknown?

What do I know for certain? Jesus loves me, He will return, I will sit at His feet as an heir, and worship Him in awe and wonder for eternity.

And I guess that truth is good enough for me. I live in His favor and grace now, and I will live in His presence for eternity. So why worry?

Thanks for answering, kaoticprofit.

But please don't assume I am ignorant on how to study Scriptures, OK?

As for the beasts being individual men, I have to disagree because every other time in Scripture, a "beast" referred to a nation.

As for calling the beast "he" rather than "it" (like is seen in Daniel), recall that in Hebrew there is no "it" pronoun. Hebrew, like French and Spanish, refer to nouns in a gender-format rather than neutral. Thus the "it" in Daniel is an interpretive translation rather than the actual Hebrew meaning of the word.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
