When is this judgment we're supposed to be praying for going to happen? Please be forthcoming with your view.

When Jesus referred to the Day He would send this destruction by fire, Amos 1, Isaiah 24:1-6, 2 Peter 3:7, He said it was a time that no one would know. It will come unexpectedly, which is not the case when He Returns in glory, as anyone with a Bible will know the Return will come  exactly 1260 days after the Anti-Christ sits in the Temple.

Denial of this forthcoming event is a bad mistake, as it leaves people unprepared for it.

This “don’t deny it” thing repeated over and over is not appreciated.

Please just make your case with scripture and leave off the rest.

Ease up.

Thank you.

I completely agree. You should therefore not treat the prophets selectively and focus only on the matter of judgment but also include ALL the prophets taught.

The whole Bible is the only Book that includes all the Prophetic Word.  I can't post all of it here, but I have written over 800 articles, which address most of the Bible prophesies.

I point out a few of them on forums and yours is a typical response. Objections to my posts generally are as you have done; point to the messenger to not have properly discerned the message.

Since the the heavens and earth present at the time of Peter's epistle were reserved for fire, the Christians are to be holy in conduct looking forward (not fearing or dreading) to the fire and destruct AND the new heavens and earth! We're to be looking to be found in peace, spotless and blameless, regarding our Lord as salvation!!! growing in grace and knowledge of Jesus.

Quite correct.  And we do have the wonderful Promises of God, of His protection during this forthcoming worldwide disaster. Luke 21:35, Isaiah 43:1-7 ....everyone who bears My Name

No one is asking you to post all of it here. I am asking you to be more holistic using the prophets. That's all. I linked you to your own OP history. You, Keras, have an undeniably propensity to post about judgment. It is an affinity as far as can be seen from the OP history. Are you aware of this? It is understandable; that affinity is quite common among those on the Dispensational end of our faith. To be so selective borders on abuse of the Word, imo. I am simply asking you to take a look at what appears to be a bias (witting or unwitting) and be more balanced. Nothing more.

Be more inclusive with the prophets because God was not myopic or narrow-minded with His prophets.

Good for you. However, if those books overemphasized one portion of scripture at the expense of another then every single one of them was flawed. To the degree that any of those books made predictions that did not come true you instantly became a false teacher and should make amends to any who paid for those articles. I don't think I've ever seen you be so decided so as to make a specific prediction (commendable) but that is common among those who over-focus on judgment in the prophets. You and I both know scores of authors who made that mistake.

For the record: writing a bunch of articles does not make someone correct. The appeal to your own production is not relevant to this discussion and depending on the content of those articles may undermine your position in this thread. You earlier appealed to your personal anecdotal experience. Based on my anecdotal personal experience you have no business appealing to your anecdotal personal experience. Where would this conversation be if I'd asserted that? Let me, therefore, encourage you to stick to scripture and not yourself as the measure of others ;)

Most forums I've been in prohibit self-promotion.

Mmmmm....

That is ironic. I have NOT "pointed to the messenger to not have properly discerned the message" of scripture BUT that comment reveals you have not properly discerned my message.  You have to your commendable credit acknowledged at least some of the other aspects of prophesy. I have tried to acknowledge your acknowledgement. I have tried to affirm those areas in the conversation where we have agreement. At no point has I said you were ignorant of those non-judgment aspects of the prophets and if you took anything I posted to say such a thing then you erred in doing so. You may have an understanding of the prophets that you do not expound upon with wholeness but if you think I think you lack discernment then you do lack discernment. It isn't a lack of discernment of scripture. It is a lack of discernment of these posts! I have endeavored to rely upon your ability to open your Bible read what is stated - ALL of what is stated - accept it, believe it, and apply it ALL without being eisegetically selective.

Because the eisegetic selectivity in this op is undeniable.

800 article worth of experience should have taught you not to do that by now :D.

Treat scripture, treat the prophets, as a whole and don't hyperfocus on judgment and punishment, especially if you want others to know what the prophets taught because they did not teach only judgment and punishment. Thay taught about Jesus.

Then write about them.

Just can't stop the single-minded exclusionary focus of wrath, can you? Jesus brought you and I freedom. We have the freedom know and understand His whole word, not just the wrathful parts. I'm going to move on because this has gotten repetitive. I'll report my bullet points and leave you with the last word. Appreciate the patience, forbearance, and conversation.

My points are simple to understand and have been evidenced: There is more to the prophets than judgment. When teachings are incomplete, they are also incorrect, and anecdotal experience is not a scriptural or rational basis for a selective use of scripture. All humanity would benefit (as defined by the whole of God's word) if all that the prophets taught was declared and prayer for.

  • There is more to the prophets than judgment.
  • It is myopic to use the prophets selectively.
  • Anecdotal experience is not scriptural or rational basis for a selective use of scripture.
  • Anecdotal experience is not a scriptural or rational basis for judging others.
  • The selective use of scripture and the judgment of others based on one serving as their arbiter borders on disobedience.
  • That kind of disobedience is among the first things the prophets said would be judged.
  • All humanity, not just Christians, would benefit (as defined by the whole of God's word) if all that the prophets taught was declared and prayer for.

Think about it.

Keep it about the posts and not the poster, Josh.

OK, just spend 10 years of intensive study of all the Prophetic Word, as I have.   Of course, the message has to be broken down into 'lectures' as with any teaching.    Here is another:

Isaiah 52:1-14 Awake; Awake, Zion, put on your strength! Jerusalem: holy city, put on your splendid garments, for the heathen and the ungodly will never again enter you. Arise, captive city – shake off the dust and undo your bonds, you captive daughter of Zion.      Not happened yet.

The Lord says: You were sold, but no price was paid and without payment you will be redeemed. My people were captives in Egypt, then in Assyria, but now what do I find? My people in exile and My Name reviled constantly.

But on the Day that I save My people, they will know My Name and know that it is the Lord who speaks. Here I am!        Every Christian believer!

Deliverance is announced, as the Lord bares His holy arm and makes His power seen by the whole world. The watchmen of Zion shout for joy amid the ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted His people.

Go out; leave Babylon behind, keep pure, you that keep the sacraments of the Lord. But you will not flee in urgent haste or leave like fugitives, for the Lord will go before you and your rear-guard will be Israel’s God. My servant will achieve success; He will be honored and exalted. The time was when many despised My people, just as My servant was despised and rejected, but now they will see what they had never understood and their minds will be filled with things unheard of before.  Ref: REB. Abridged.

My people in Egypt and Assyria’: Judah and Israel, conquered and taken into exile. Judah has maintained their identity, but Israel migrated from the Caucasus area and are now known as Caucasian/Western peoples.  Ezekiel 11:15-17, Acts 26:6-7

The Lord bares His holy arm – His power seen by the whole world’, This will be the next action of the Lord on earth. It is the many prophesied Great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a terrible judgement/punishment of fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis that will devastate the entire Middle East and severely affect the entire world. Psalms 83:13-18, Ezekiel 30:-5, Isaiah 66:15-16, Joel 2:1-11

‘My servant’, The Lord Jesus Christ. It is Jesus who instigates this judgement, as we are told in Luke 3:17. He will not be seen on that Day, Psalm 18:11, and from the many graphic descriptions of this event, it will be a coronal mass ejection, a sun explosion of unprecedented magnitude that will literally cause all the prophesied effects. Isaiah 30:26, Revelation 6:12-17, Isaiah 34:1-5, 2 Peter 3:7 & 10, Psalms 97:2-5

The Lord saves His people’, All true Christian believers in the Lord, who keep His commandments and trust in Him for their salvation will be protected on that Day.  Acts 2:21, Isaiah 30:26b, Zephaniah 2:3

Go out of Babylon, but not as fugitives’, Babylon is a metaphor for the ungodly nations. The Lord’s Christian peoples have wonderful promises of how they will be transported back into all of the holy Land, where they will live in peace and prosperity. Isaiah 66:20, Ezekiel 36:1-38, Jeremiah 31:1-40

The Lord will go before you…’ In the same way as He did for ancient Israel. The visible Return will come later.   Exodus 40:36-38, 1 Corinthians 10:1-4

What they never understood’, The Lord’s plans are impossible to know by any atheist or false religion follower, but also difficult for those who believe God’s Word if they have failed to properly discern the prophetic scriptures and allowed themselves to be swayed by false doctrines and teachings. Isaiah 29:9-12, 1 Cor. 14:22, Isaiah 29:24

Neglecting large portions of God's whole word has consequences.

I neglect nothing in scripture.  I have done the missionary thing; I'm past that and now I promote the Prophetic Word.

So to accuse me of too much focus on the end time events, is unreasonable and unfair.  I have often had this accusation and it always comes from those whose beliefs are challenged by the truths presented.

What the Prophets said: is what will happen, or our Bibles are fiction.

However; all we really need to know when things start to happen, is to call upon the Name of the Lord and you shall be saved.

I will be off line for the next 10 days, on a cycle trip in Westland, New Zealand.

But we cannot repeat the whole Bible, or each Book, or a whole chapter, or even the whole verse in most cases.

Your accusation can be levelled at every preacher and teacher.  We all take parts of scripture and do our best to expand upon and explain them.

In my case, it is the Prophetic Word, something rarely, if ever heard from the pulpit.     It seems that you have an anathema for Prophecy, or maybe it is because what I show the Prophets actually did say, conflicts with your preconceived beliefs?

Imagine If:   God’s glory be over all the earth  Psalms 57:1-11

The Bible tells us of how in the past, the Lord has performed acts of destruction upon the world and of salvation for His people. It seems that most, if not all of these events took place within his Laws of Creation, that is: they didn’t break the Law of gravity, for example.

In Noah’s time, the Lord used a great flood of water to reset the civilization of that time. Often He used people, like Gideon to destroy ungodly peoples. At the time of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, it was recorded by the Bible [Exodus 9:23-24] and by many other societies that there were terrible fires and hailstones caused by a comet passing close by the earth. The red dust of this comets [Typhon] debris made all outside water un-drinkable.

Paul plainly tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:11 that what happened at that time, was recorded as a warning for us, upon whom the end of the age has come.

Acts 2:17-21 [quoting Joel 2:28-32] In the last days… I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below – blood and fire and clouds of smoke

This fits with the over 100 prophecies about the Day of the Lord’s wrath: plainly prophesied as a Coronal Mass Ejection of unprecedented magnitude. This worldwide disaster will induce the nations establish a One World Government, but all the Lord’s faithful; Christian peoples will go to and settle in all of the holy Land. Revelation 7:9 Then; after all that is prophesied to take place, has happened, the Lord Jesus will Return for His Millennial reign.

Imagine if – a huge coronal mass ejection fireball strikes the earth.  Isaiah 30:25-28

This has happened, the Carrington event and many smaller ones. Scientists and astronomers expect it to happen again. It has only been that recent CMEs have been small or not directed toward earth, that we have been relativly unaffected.

Imagine if – the tectonic plates shift, causing worldwide earthquakes. Isaiah 24:19, Jeremiah 4:24   The microwaves of a massive CME would cause the earth crust to heat up, triggering earthquakes and volcanoes. Deuteronomy 32:22, Revelation 6:12-14

Imagine if – the lakes and oceans slosh around like water in a bathtub. Amos 9:6b, Nahum 1:8, Jeremiah 51:42   Massive tsunamis would inundate all the coastal lands and destroy all the cities and habitations near the water’s edge.  We do experience tsunamis in localised areas, that have devastated low lying places and caused high loss of life.

Imagine if – the earth is moved from her place. Isaiah 13:13, Psalm 18:7

Either the hit from a multi-million ton CME mass, or the gravity pull from a comet can change  the earth’s orbit speed. The ancient Egyptian, Babylonian, Mayan, etc, all had calendars with a 360 day year. But in circa 1495 BCE, this changed and our orbit slowed to a 365.24 day year. Comet Typhon caused that and we can expect another earth shaking and moving event to happen, thereby making the prophesied time periods given to us in Daniel and Revelation to be correct.

Imagine a very different world. Micah 5:15, Zeph. 3:8 Millions will be killed, virtually all our modern infrastructure destroyed, cities uninhabitable, with ash clouds darkening the sky. But we who trust in the Lord’s protection and call upon Him in this terrifying time, will be saved, Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, and we look forward to the great gathering and settling of His faithful Christian people in the new country of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Romans 9:24-26,+

Hosea 14:9 Let the wise consider these things and the discerning will understand them. The righteous walk in His ways, but the transgressors will fall.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
