but i believe the bible is clear on women preaching in church, on the streets or where ever

Is it? How can any of us say that "the bible is pretty clear on women preaching in church, on the streets or where ever" when there is such heavy debate and speculation? The bible IS clear about many things and that makes for pretty short conversations, but I don't believe this topic is clear enough for any of us to take a strong stance on either side of the fence regarding this.

Anyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit can do the ALL the works that Jesus did which includes teaching, preaching, healing, and even greater works than He did.

Read on.

There are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture (1 Cor. 12:4-11). If one is filled with the holy spirit one would have.

1 The gift of the word of wisdom

2 The gift of the word of knowledge

3 The gift of faith

4 The gift of healing

5 The gift of working of miracles

6 The gift of prophecy

7 The Gift of discerning of spirits

8 The gift od divers kinds of tongues or languages

9 The gift of interpretation of tongues or languages

Who can have all of the above gifts? Does Scripture teach men only?

Scripture teaches that every believer, that means MALE or FEMALE may have one or all of the above gifts as they covet them and seeks God for the anointing of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:8-31). That is every member of the body of Christ, male or female!

Now, what is the purpose of these gifts?

The purpose of these gifts is to enable all believers to do the works of CHRIST and to carry on the work that He began both to do AND TO TEACH (READ Acts 1:1-2, 12-15; 1 Cor 1:7; Rom. 12:3-8; 1 Cor. 12:4-31; 14:1-40; Heb. 2:3-4). "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; AND GREATER WORKS than these shall he do for I go to my Father (John 14:12).

God has set some in the Church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miricals, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues . . . But covet earnestly the best gifts; and yet unto you a more excellent way . . . . Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts" (1 Cor. 12:28-30; 14:1).

Not one mention of gender in asking for and recieving any of the above gifts, or being limited in any of the works any believer can do, in fact Jesus says even better works than these, works which He did? we both, male and female can do all the works Jesus did and more than He did, and that includes teaching, for He was the greatest teacher of all, if we so covet the gifts and recieve them. Teaching has nothing to do with having authority over men. Teaching is teaching.

Do not listen to paul. If he had his way no one would be married with a family. Listen to Jesus ..God our father..Go ye into the world and preach the Gospel. Holy Spirit knows no Gender nor did God make any seperation of adam and Eve until the fall. He still called them both Adam. We are not under the curse anymore. That was done with when Jesus died on the cross, unless you are not christian. A woman is the same as a man where The gifts of the spirit are concerned. The Spirit gives them out as He sees fit. Do not grieve the Spirit of God.

Preaching the word as a woman is NOT ursurping authority unless you take the pulpit by violent force.

If one wants to live under the bondage of the law ...let them. Do not hide your light under a bushel and let those give a account for themselves...

Obey Jesus.

excellent why so blind... My great friend is a well seasoned pastor of 6o years. She has more wisdom and knowledge in her little toe than most. She is female and has been welcomed all over the world. In places where most are not welcomed. In India, in synagouges of Israel and such. She also pastored a church with her husband until He died of alzheimers in the 80's. When I say Pastor that is what I meant. He will go out and she would pastor and vice versa.

My own Pastor would travel to seek her wisdom and knowledge as well as prayer after introducing them.

When she decided to step down the entire body was sad and grieved yet she also knew who was to take her place and in spite of being a woman she put a man in there. Not because of the advice paul gave but because of his call and anointing.

She had men in service as well as on the board and never once did she have a problem. All knew it was Gods will for her to pastor. patricia1

Gentle, the Bible forbids women pastors.

1Ti 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

1Ti 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

1Ti 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1Ti 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

It's an easy decision seeing that the Word of God is pretty specific.

Trust is correct. But a woman can have a ministry as long as she in under the cover her husband or a male pastor. Joyce Myers for example has a very wonderful and large ministry but she operates under the cover of her husband.

Is there a difference in the distinction between "women preachers" and "female pastors"? Anne Graham Lotz is a proclaimer and conference speaker along with Beth Moore, but both have said they would never pastor a church. (Citing reservations)

I truly believe to be a pastor one needs to have a pastors heart. I can preach the word but never be a pastor unless in a apostle setting until another arrives. I would slaughter the sheep...Lol...only kidding.

Most of my friends are pastors and I rather let them be so. My call is different. It is veryt important to know your place in the Kingdom...

So I would most definitely say there is a difference. patricia1

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
