Where was Jesus after He died and rose from the dead?

Did He have acces to heaven right away?

Or did He go down to hell first and why?

I'm not sure exactly where He went. I don't think He went to hell at all, though.

The wick are raised up from the grave after the one thousand years and then judged and then thrown into the lake of fire. Maybe hell has different levels or places other then just the lake of fire. Maybe the wick are doing time in one of the other places before judgement and the lake of fire or just sleeping in their grave until the second ressurrection.

Three places come to my mind: outer darkness, the winepress and the lake of fire so maybe fire has three levels.

I believe outer darkness and the winepress are spiritual places that people can be in while they are alive on the earth, while judgement and the lake of fire and the second death or "perpetual sleep" occur after the first death.

Jesus would probably only appear at the jugdment seat of Christ to the wicked after the 1000 years the wicked were in their grave.

There appears to be a lot of differences of opinions on this by scholars. The best I can do is reference some scriptures for your info:

Okay, before the cross, it would appear from the following verse, that those who died and were saved (believed God) went to a place called Abraham's Bosom:

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Tradition holds that ALL who died before the cross went to a holding place - the grave basically, but the chosen ones were placed in Abraham's Bosom, and the unsaved may be reflected in thes verses:

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

After the cross we have these verses:

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

So I'll not argue what these verses might mean, but will let you draw your own conclusions.

I think that many of the Psalms give vivid descriptions of where Jesus went during that time between the cross and the resurrection.

One example is Psalm 57:4

My soul is among lions;

I lie among the sons of men

Who are set on fire,

Whose teeth are spears and arrows,

And their tongue a sharp sword.

Psalm 22 is also vivid.

Some think these were the prayers that our Lord cried out in the Garden of Gesthename, but I personnaly feel that they were the prayers He cried out in the pit, from the heart of the earth.

Jesus was fully God, and fully Man. The Son of God and the Son of Man. I believe that as the Son of Man, He died and was forsaken by God the Father, but not utterly. In His death, He carried the burden of and paid the penalty for all the sins of mankind. He who knew no sin became sin for us. I believe He fully experienced the pain and terror of being forsaken by God, being a reproach of men, and despised by the people. I believe he was surrounded by demons, workers of iniquity, who taunted Him mercilessly, gnashing their teeth at Him, raging like lions, saying 'where is your God now?'.....without cause, because Christ knew no sin. But through it all He trusted in God to raise Him up, to deliver Him, and He praised God even when it looked hopeless and He was tempted ruthlessly to believe the lies of the wicked.

I believe that He also had to plead with God for our transgressions which became His when He took them at the cross., Psalm 51. Look at verse 12 & 13 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgrressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You.

It's all in the Psalms.

Jesus' victory was accomplished on the cross. It was finished, on the cross.

And . . . Jesus was never forsaken by the Father.

suggestion of severity and of threatened judgment

3) of certain decrees of the apostles relative to right living

I would say that "ordinances" as used in the above verse has the meaning of # 2) above - an interesting sidenote to this is Jesus comment about John the Baptist:

Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

I believe this is saying that JB was GREATER than Moses. JB's mission was to "make straight paths for the Lord". I believe that the "he that is least" is referring to Jesus Himself, but may also have application to ANYONE who has entered into the Kingdom of Heaven, OR the Kingdom of God on this earth.

You are correct when you say that Jesus was NEVER "forsaken" by God, for how can God forsake Himself? But I believe that there are several times, when Jesus was "responding" in the "flesh" to the events that He was encountering, such as:

John 11:35 Jesus wept.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

I think that it was at times such as these that we see the fulfillment of:

Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Satan returned frequently to "stir up" Jesus physical emotions, although I do not see any of these instances as "sin" per se. So it can be said honestly:

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
