Can you change the mind of the Creator?

•    Pro 19:21 -> “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. ”.

One of the great problems of the human being is that they have many dreams and desires (and, of course, many ways of trying to reach them):

•    Ecc 7:29 -> “See, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.”.

If everyone sought to know Jesus’ plans for them and act in according to this, the world would be a paradise. Unfortunately, they crave for having what there is nothing to do with them and this only makes them a source of trouble. Happily:

•    Psa 21:11 -> “Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed.”.

Did you already seen how many verses vouch us that nothing nor nobody can change the Creator’s plans?

•    Pro 16:1 -> “The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.”.
•    Pro 16:9 -> “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”.
•    Pro 21:1 -> “The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”.
•    Pro 21:30 -> “No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel can avail against the LORD.”.
•    Gen 50:20 -> “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. ”.
•    Job 23:13  -> “But he is unchangeable, and who can turn him back? What he desires, that he does.”.
•    Job 42:2 -> “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. ”.
•    Isa 43:13 -> “Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?” ”.
•    Isa 14:24 -> “The LORD of hosts has sworn: “As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand, ”.
•    Isa 46:10 -> “declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’ ”.
•    Jer 10:23 -> “I know, O LORD, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps. ”.
•    Dan 4:35 -> “all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?” ”.
•    Act 5:38,39 -> “So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,”.
•    Eph 1:11 -> “In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,”.
•    Heb 6:17,18 -> “So when God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he guaranteed it with an oath, so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.”.

And praise Him for this. After all, once His will is good, perfect and delightful (Rom 12:2), why would we desire some change? Did you fancy if someone could corrupt and change the mind of the Creator in regard to the good plans that He has for you? Wouldn’t this be a tragedy (it is what tried Balaam)?

So, have a good day praying to know Jesus’ plans for you and for the receiving of His power so that you can be capable of  accomplishing them (Eph 3:20,21).

Probably easier to do that then it would be to get you to actually discuss anything.

The Teacher creates scenarios for us to learn from, so we can learn how to be with the Truth. From lessons learnt the scenario changes.

Hi LV,

God, as we know is all knowing, Omniscient, thus no changing of His mind.

Now the Lord`s plans for us are simple and straight forward, in His word -

 - to be like Christ, (by His Holy Spirit).

`For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son..` (Rom. 8: 29)

`...partakers of the divine nature,...` (2 Peter 1: 4)

And this is worked out in all our lives no matter where or what we do.

Note: our gifts are for serving others and these also vary.

So nothing difficult there, just a humbling of self in every day life, reaching out to others and encouraging the believers we are in relationship with.

regards, Marilyn.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
