The Holy Spirit is the one who teaches us to be obedient to his will, were his children ,he’s our helper, it’s a living relationship with God, draw close to God and he draws close to us.

Live, eat and breath God, he’s Alive and Active in His children, ....he leads us into all truth...

Its a living relationship that can take years to develop, there is nothing more that I want, than to be tuned into the voice/ word of God.

He is Alive and Active in us, that must be delivered to the heart by regeneration/ born again/ Alive in Christ...without that we have nothing.

Do you believe the Holy Spirit teaches us apart from Scripture?

May I?I Believe it is impossible except thst Jesus Abides in us and walking in Spirit & in Truth we have the Heart & Mind of Christ Who CAN..... Yes, the Word of God🙏

With love, your Sis

Isnt this an " experience" as well Brother?

It is a Spiritual experience… it is with the endeavor to separate one’s self from that which passes away…. If it draws you to that which God is not keeping then you are filling yourself with the temporary and not the eternal…

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV)

15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Excellent ...it is Gods Truth Brother.....I really liked what Rosie1Jack2 said about our 'experiences" & I'm glad you elaborated because we MUST pay careful attention to our emotions, feelings etc... which our experiences are usually based on,these are carnal-indeed and will get us into trouble,9 times out of 10!!! probably MORE!lol   I do Believe that RosieJack is describing Spiritual experiences though as she is speaking about Holy Spirit and not carnal experience......

                                    Thank you Brother,Love Sis

I dont' know if this captures it entirely, but I think of it that since the bible says we are "elect according to the foreknowledge of God", it also means we are predestined according to His foreknowledge.

How does one fill themselves with the temporary?

Yes but it is kept toward the promises of God, what will be, and not what we are in now, this present world ...

When one attaches any portion of this world to the s/Spiritual experience... affection of any kind to that which we have been first born into we err... we are going to be totally different when we stand in the presence of our Lord and now we do not know what that will be -but- if we know totally different we do not set our affection upon this that we are now in!

Meaning what exactly?

Do you believe God speaks to his children in an audible voice ,as he did to my pastors wife?

God can do this but according to His Word I doubt He Would
John 17:16 (KJV)

[16] They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

[18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
God clearly indicates it is through His Word that people would be would be drawn...

Let me ask you another question please...?
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new
.
Is the old things the entirety of what we first been born into?
That which is become new is what exactly?

Also want to say this and not confuse my asking of you above...

Reason this in your heart our senses sight, sound, taste, touch, smell are things we began in? Are these sensual aspects directly tied to our first born selves of flesh?

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Is not the old things to pass from our reliance and new things that of s/Spirit to be are now reliance?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
