Eze 37 is talking about dead people who have been dead so long all thier flesh was gone. God is saying he will cause flesh to form again on them.

It doesn't mean they are not immortal.

They are not raised immortal, because they are going to have children and multiply.  They will die again at 100 yrs old blessed.

God has chosen them for this purpose.  They are going to do it right this time and bring the Lord glory instead of shame.  They are going to be in the 2nd resurrection.

Quote

Jesus after being raised from the dead and after ascending into heaven to the Father returned in the flesh so that Thomas could stick his hand in Jesus side. He wasnt sticking his hand into a spirit. He was sticking it into flesh.

Jesus still had a hole in his flesh where the spear stuck into him.

It's the same type of thing that happened to Lazarus when Jesus raised him from the dead.  He died again.  The only difference is that these have been dead for thousands of years.

Don't get this confused with the resurrection of the saints where they were sown a natural body, but raised a spiritual body.

A spiritual body can transform into flesh, like the angels when they ate with Lot.  Angels don't eat our food, but they can put on a flesh body if it's needed.

Jesus did exactly the same thing.  After the apostles saw him, he vanished.  He really did materialize into flesh and was assuring them that they were not seeing a ghost, because it was really him there, back from the dead, and not an apparition or a devil.

1 Corinthians 15:44   It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

If Jesus was really raised flesh as many say, then the scripture above is a lie.

Im Surprised you don't believe God could make flesh incorruptible.

I've always felt he absolutely could. I've never doubted his power.

As for Eze 37.ezekiel doesn't say they are raised to be currupted again nor does he say they will die again.

Revelation 20 which coresponds to Ezekiel 37 shows them still alive 1000 years later when Gog invades Israel in Ezekiel 38.

Where does Ezekiel show anyone in Israel dying in Ezekiel 37 or 38 besides Gog.?

PS, I've read in Zech 14,that the people of the nations who attacked Jerusalem who recieved rain did not suffer the plague of curruption. It never says they were transformed into spirits. It just says they had recieved the rain and did not suffer the plague that caused corruption.

I myself have recieved the former rain. As I understand it, they recieve the latter rain at the time of harvest.

Well, do you believe 1 Corinth 15:44 or not?  In the resurrection of the saints, we will be raised to spirit.

No, you have to go to other scriptures to find that out.  It's called seek and ye shall find.  Not handed to us on a silver spoon.  There is a labour of love involved here when seeking the whole truth, not just cherry picking scriptures.

They don't live for a thousand years, they live to a hundred.  That's 10 generations.  You are seeing that last generation during the Gog and Magog war.

It's not shown in Ezekiel 37/38.  You have to keep looking.  I've already shown you the scripture in Isaiah 65:20

Seek and ye shall find is not talking about scripture, that is talking about God.

So you can't find a single person in Ezekiel 37 or 38 who were resurrected in Ezekiel 37 who die, but you insist they all must die by reading other parts of the bible about other people dying.

As for the flesh. I've already covered that. Jesus's flesh was literally raised from the dead and became incorruptible. He even had Thomas thrust his hand in his flesh to prove it.

Zechariah 14:16   And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Zechariah 14:17   And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

Zechariah 14 is speaking of the 'survivors' of the nations that came against Jerusalem.  Every one that is left.....spared.  These are all flesh people still, those who didn't make it into the resurrection, these nations will be under Christ's kingdom now.  They will have new laws and will have to obey.

Zech 14 is not speaking about any resurrected saints, but survivors.

God is speaking about the kingdom of God.  That land.  He gives examples below how the land flourishes.  But he is not just speaking about the physical land, but the spiritual land.  The spiritual land has been thirsty and dry for so long for lack of the word of God.  The kingdom of God on earth will be like a well watered garden.  All in the kingdom will produce good fruit.  The former rain was only given moderately, but the latter rain is yet to come in the first month if that gives us a clue.  Knowledge will be spread throughout the whole kingdom, and that will include Israel who are living there in the flesh.  Plenty of spiritual food to eat.

Joel 2:21   Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Joel 2:22   Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

Joel 2:23   Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain
moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

Joel 2:24   And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.

Joel 2:25   And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Joel 2:26   And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

I don't think you are seriously looking for the truth, but like to argue.

Exactly. Zech 14 is talking about flesh.

Flesh that has been made incorruptible. Which those who had no rain suffered the plague which caused thier flesh to consume off while they were standing on thier feet and thier tongues to consume in thier mouths and thier eyes to consume in thier sockets, those who recieved rain did not suffer the plague.

In other words, at the sound of the seventh trump, they were changed. But as you pointed out, they were still flesh.

So I say to you, ask and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks recieves, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Which of you fathers, if his son would ask for a fish, would give him a snake Insted?

Or if he asks for an egg, would give him a scorpion ?

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more would your father in heaven give the holy spirit to those who ask him!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
