Always Be Thankful

I am dealing with a problem that every time I say out loud what I am thankful for, the thing I am thankful for gets destroyed or taken away. 
 

So I refrain from saying thanks except in my heart.

The Lord promises to never leave nor forsake us. I'm so grateful/thankful for this ... The Lord keeps His promises, so we can confidently thank Him for these whether in song or quietly in our hearts.

Do you know of remedy to stop catastrophe when I thank God for something? It shouldn’t happen I know, but it does.

I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to you...

I must confess that I have not heard of this occurring on a regular basis before @Fidei Defensor....

I guess I can only share what I personally do... I tend to keep a loose hold on 'things' that I have been given or acquired.

I recognise that I could lose my health, family members, friends, fellowship, my job, my home etc. etc. and so I give thanks to God for His provision, whilst I have them, but I always try to remember how temporal things of this earth can be.... How transient. 

I will certainly keep you in prayer @Fidei Defensor, if it is causing you distress..

Well said. You speak as a Mature Believer: 

“Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.” (Philippians 3:9, 15)

I wonder if perhaps evil one and his cohorts visits calamity on me with aim to get me not to give thanks: 

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe..” (Hebrews 12:28)
