No. Read the last chapter closely. Job accounted all of God's goodness to him based on his own goodness to God. In effect, Job was self righteous. Job finally repents and credits God.

Nope God declared Job righteous before anything was to happen.

 

Job 1:8  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 

 

Then Job lost everything, and then

Job 2:3  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. 

 

And then Job was covered with boils. notice that the Lord says destroy him without cause.

therefore, no testing to see what Job will do, or make him stronger, so on and so forth. it is the Almighty’s prerogative to do as He pleases for any reason or even no reason at all, He answers to no one.

 

Hence the wisdom in the fear of the Lord. now if He gives you His Word on something, then He will keep His Word. He gave His Word to Abraham He gave His Word to David so on and so forth. Don’t expect the Lord to protect you without Him giving His Word.

Some of you may have heard this particular Psalm referred to as " the Soldiers Prayer".....

King David wrote this Psalm,I believe ,as many Jews attribute the text to Moses,David was standing on the Word of God as Spoken to Moses..    Praise & Glory to God Most High,we trust in the Lord by Believing His Word- He is Faithful to His Promises❤️
