I voted for the fact he had no good ole boys to answer too, and he understands how business works as evident through his presidency. I voted for someone to run the country closest to my on values. I did not vote for a good Christian, a preacher, nor a plumber. I voted for someone qualified to run the country.

Considering the buffoon (puppet) in office that should be in the nursing home,  I wonder about all those 'never Trumpers' who vote Democrat, here on this "Christian" forum, knowing what all they stand for and push down our throats.  Do the never Trumpers actually prefer the leftist agenda just to feel good voting against someone whose hairstyle and success you dislike?

So God is republican?

As I strongly advise ALL Christian Folk. Highly recommended that you  detach yourselves from any loyalty to anyone but God. Stay out of it.

That is good Christian advise.

It's fun to watch how people's heads simply explode around Trump. If you have any irrational qualities, Trump will bring them out for all the world to see. For that reason alone he was a good president.

That said, we need a grown up in charge. DeSantis fits the bill nicely.

We are all sinners. Every last one of us. No one is perfect and will not be until we get to heaven.

Born again Christians are to have the fruit of the spirit. When a true Christian sins they ask for forgivness and then they try their Christian best to not sin deliberately. Trump is not an example of a Christian by any means. He does not hold the integrity that a President should have. But neither does Bidden. It is all about politics and I stay away from it.

       "So God is republican?"
Wow, I didn't know that.  Makes sense though. Thanks Dan.

I am a citizen of the United States of America, and I am loyal to my country, that God has blessed. I vote.
But, "our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ"    Philippians 3:20

"The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord."     Proverbs 16:33

"A wise man's heart inclines him to the right, but a fool's heart to the left."  Ecclesiastes 10:2  ( my favorite)...default_cool2.gif.0c08e800147e568bec9dcf546b5ca826.gif

"When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan."    Proverbs 29:2

"Choose for your tribes wise, understanding, and experienced men, and I will appoint them as your heads." Deuteronomy 1:13

"For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations."    Psalm 22:28

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.   Proverbs 14:34

Every American citizen has the right and responsibility to vote and it should be an informed vote. As Christians, we have an obligation to be good stewards of ALL that God has blessed us with, and beyond doubt, God has blessed America.
To present my views as to whom I would or would not vote for here and why is how the system works in a free country.
The present administration has decided this right has to go.

I worship my God, I praise my God, and I follow my spirit as well as I can. God's word says choose/elect those who rule over us.
Yes I am loyal to my country (and Chevrolet). My heart and soul, my hope and trust, my eternity, belongs to my God.
"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust"

" For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." [Rom 14:10-12]

Do you know whether or not Trump has asked for forgiveness? Isn’t that between him and God? Do you have a recent example of what you see as Trump sinning deliberately?

I do not know Donald Trump's heart. I have witnessed the way he conducts himself and the way he runs a business. As a born again Christian I do not have any respect for Trump.

I don’t understand Christians who think it best or morally superior to not vote at all.

If you have kids don’t you care about the situation you are leaving for them to have to live in?

As a Christian in this evil world we have a choice to vote or not to vote. We are just in this world not of this world.

Well i couldn't find a "political" sub forum so am sorry if this was the wrong place to post it but my question was basically about why so many Conservative Christians have always loved Trump so much who may believe in God/Christ but doesn't really openly profess it or witness to others about his "faith",  such as people like Ted Cruz and Mike Pence who both have gotten such a bad rap? I believe he may have once claimed to be a "non-denominational Christian" but he is not at all outspoken about it. Anyway was just curious why everyone is so enamored with him and if he did decide to run again i still would probably end up voting for another Republican candidate, but just my opinion. And also i know he has probably been misjudged and mistreated by some of the things that the Left has been doing but at the same time i just find it very hard to sympathize with a Billionare, but guess that's just me.

I am addressing this to you. Threads that pertain to Donald Trump are not a good thread on Worthy. Past threads regarding Donald Trump have only caused discord. That is why I am putting this thread on ignore.

I have always wondered why so many Christians loved Trump. He has no character, integrity, morals or values. No it is not just you.

President Donald J. Trump is one of the greatest if not the greatest American Presidents America has ever had, and I do hope he makes it back to the Presidency, which the left is trying everything in their power to stop, because they are afraid of him winning. even going as far as sending the F.B.I. to raid his home.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
