Not many would agree with my critique.

You're spot-on with the critique. In addition, we agree that politics are a matter best left to those of this world (or who are ensnared by it).

We focus our eyes and heart upon Jesus Christ alone. We know that God is in charge no matter what. :)

I don't know if I would agree with that although I understand the sentiment. That's coming from my Reformed, neo-Calvinist background that would advocate the Christians should be involved in all spheres of human endeavour, even politics. Can't be salt and light if you abdicate these areas to the "world".

Do as you will, my friend.

I don't like Biden or Trump. Could we find a President in our world today who has good character and intergity?

I don't like Biden or Trump either, although Trump's policies were far better than Biden's (or whoever is really running America, behind the scenes).

If you could separate the person of who Trump is and only go by what he did for the United States while he was in the Presidency I do see your point.

I think it basically all comes down to the fact that Conservative christians as a whole simply hate Liberalism so much that they are willing to overlook some of the personality and/or moral faults of one such as Trump. But i think they do throw that "Socialism" card around a bit too much, i mean even most Liberals still seem very proud of our country and heritage and are not in any way insinuating that we should become a Communist nation for the most part, and yes i realize there are some radicals out there who wouldnt have any problems with us turning that way even though they should realize that would never happen, i hope anyway? But Republicans probably hope they would try to do just so they could continue accusing them of attempting some major take over our nation, so they turn our schools back to common core(who cares anyway except soccer moms who have nothing better to do than worship there kids?)  Either way we all pretty much knew this from the get go as far back as the Reagan years which was still at least  as good a term in office than Trump's even though i know many would disagree. But i wouldn't ever see Reagan or any president actually offering pardons to any of those people storming the Capitol but rather just the opposite, offering PROSECUTIONS!  I mean are you kidding me, actually forgiving criminal actions?

Well, doesn't Jesus tell me to rejoice when evil people speak all sorts of false things about me . . . if I am being accused because of living for Jesus, I understand He means.

But because I can be paranoid, I can imagine people being against me and I in paranoia can be anti-Christ, by getting worried and imagining speaking against problem people and cursing them with my suspicion and accusations and criticism, instead of loving them and blessing them in prayer the way Jesus says to do.

So, how might Jesus have me handle a visit? Oh, wow, you're real FBI people? Ones of you can risk your lives every day to keep my brother and sister and lady friend and children and grandchildren and best friends and mother and father safe, every day, while I am enjoying my pool and golf course. Thank you so much! Please make sure you enjoy whenever you have time to be with your own families. I hope you are being good with them and not abusing each other with arguing or complaining about the ones higher-up who might just try to use you up like toilet paper for their political schemes . . . in case this is what really is happening. Thank you for doing your jobs as well as you can, in spite of any corruption, like you gave your oath to do. I am honored to meet you, and I am glad I am home so I can meet you.

What may I do for you? I don't have anything to hide, here. What ever is that . . . a warrant?? Oh well . . . use it if they told you to. Do whatever you need to do here so you and your resources can get on to dealing with terrorists and serial killers, as soon as possible. But thank you for stopping by; I appreciate meeting you. God's word says you are our ministers for His good >

"he is God's minister to you for good" > in Romans 13:4.

So, if I am not honored to meet you and encourage you, this is not your fault! So, God bless you and please make yourself at home, and please have a good time with your families :) I understand it can be a sacrifice for your families, how you can have long hours and ones of you might not come home.

Without what you do, we could have everything shut down . . . no trucks moving food without getting hijacked after moving a few miles . . . two or three local warlords ruling each town . . . cannibalism being the default way to get food - - - if we had no law enforcement and criminal investigation people doing their jobs.

So, may I help you, somehow, please?

And, of course, you might want to investigate whoever sent you here, in case you ever have no higher priorities. But thank you for doing all you do to take care of us :)

Deceitful speech is evil according to the words of the Lord.

"Who is the person who desires life and loves length of days, that he may see good?

"Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

"Turn from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it."

(Psalm 34:12-14 NASB)

I'm offended by the way he's being treated because it is unconstitutional.   And if they are willing to do those things to him, they will not think twice in doing them to me.   I don't have a problem with him being rich, and I really don't know what he does during the day and night since he moved to Florida...   and really it's none of my business.    I do miss his mean tweets though.  But not enough to follow him on any media.

Exactly what I was thinking.Donald Trump is not just some billionaire,he was the POTUS & if they could ignore our Constitution to go after the former President who has upheld our Constitution at every turn(& I think helped many to be more aware of our Constitutional rights)I don't even want to think about what the govt can do to the rest of us ....

Yeah,I don't care what Pres Trump does at Mira Lagos and unfortunately it doesn't seem like he gets any R& R down here- I do wish they'd leave the man be

He has my prayers, just as anyone who needs Jesus- I certainly don't think he is an evil man - uncouth, foul mouth, sarcastic, boisterous and arrogant but not evil

Sure miss him in the Oval office though

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
