Part of our commission is to 'witness ' for the Lord. 

A witness can take place in a court room, where stands a person who has been accused of a crime. Witnesses can be called to speak against or for the accused.  Christian Folk understand that Jesus was falsely accused of a number of crimes,  but we know in our heart of hearts that He is innocent.  

This writing is not focused solely on what He was accused of,  rather what have you seen and know about His innocence? What can you witness by personal experience, as to the innocence of Jesus in something He has been falsely accused of.

An example is of the thief on the cross,  who testified as a witness to the innocence of Him saying,  .."this Man has done nothing wrong ".

  My example is as follows:  

Jesus has been accused of not being like most Christians say He is.  In fact, some have told me that there are no modern day occurrences of Him preforming miracles for ones personal sake.  He just sits back and watches. Kind of an agnostic view. 

My experience:

In the mid 80's I was traveling with my family, wife and 4 kids (2 in diapers), from Texas to Minnesota to visit my parents.  At about 2am, my station wagon started loosing power.  Right away I knew it was the transmission.  I prayed God help! I was able to get off the interstate and was able to pull in to an old gas station and garage. It was closed. At that point the car would not move.  I looked under the car with my flash light and saw the spill of what remained of the transmission fluid. I told my wife that we would sit here till the garage opened.  Then 2 fellows came out of the garage and I told them the deal. They said they could check it out in the morning.  Also, that there were bed rooms upstairs above the garage that we could stay in. No charge. We thanked them and followed them up stairs. 

When we got upstairs they turned around and told me that the mother and my 2 daughters could stay in the room at the end of the hall, and me and my sons could stay in the room at the other end of the hall.

Suddenly I felt danger.  I looked at my wife and saw that she felt the same. 

God help us now! 

The 2 fellows went into a daze, started walking around like blind men in a trance. I told my wife, "Let's go now!"

We got the kids and left the building.  Got into the car and I knew it was going to run. Fired it up and drove off. Didn't have any trouble with it for the rest of the way. Or anytime thereafter. 

My witness is that God is always always present for us, and He does get involved in our safe keeping.  And He does do miracles.

What experiences do you have in this form, that has resulted in you witnessing that this Lord God, has done no wrong?

(Of course there are other scenarios where witnessing can occur.  But for this writing I'm going with the above mentioned scenario).

 

To be clear, this post is not intended to debate the meanings of the word witness.  Nor is it a platform by which one may vainly attempt to elevate themselves by boasting details that are irrelevant to the intent of said post, for ego sake. 

I'm looking for personal miraculous experiences which glorify the Most High God and refute some other false accusations about Him.

Like healing, protection, needs met out of nowhere,  ect. 

This topic is meant to Praise the Most High God for deeds manifested in times of great need, not intended to be a platform for the sake of vain arguments.

I have another cute lil story- I'm thinking about what you ssai about comments some folks make ,such as" No modern day miracles for ones personal sake" .... Such a remark could only come from someone who does not have a personal Relationship with God in CHRIST - I mean that is Christianity,it's Personal,Intimate- our Redeemer Lives & He Lives IN US!

Anyway,10 yrs ago I was pretty sick & just getting out of the hospital ( no longer had an income and had to wait for disability to kick in)- I came home to a mortgage & all those living expenses, I had no money,no food in the cupboards and not even any clothes that fit anymore but yet I never did without,not one day - people from my church have me clothes,food all kinds of Blessings

Anyway,I had to take myself to chemo everyday & I'm on my way home from the cancer center & poof,the dreaded white smoke( yep,head gasket blown!) So I barely made it home & called my mechanic,just to confirm & see if somehow I could get it fixed.My mechanic said ,it's done for & xxx amount to repair (which was more than the car was worth,lol)plus I had no money,lol

I prayed"Well Lord,you Know what I need & you Make a Way out of no way at all so I believe I need this car to run and I know you can do it"So I was outside praying with my hands on the hood & I finished my prayer by saying" In Jesus Mighty Name if it's what I need then You let me know"and I went inside...never thought about it til morning

The next day I went to go to chemo,got in the car & it started right up- I got to chemo,got home.My radiator was full of oil- I drove that car that way for over a year!!!!Never failed until I sold it" as is"

So many people used to say," How is that thing still running,it's not even possible"-funny,it would get hot,lose fluid& I'd add anti freeze to the oily muck in the radiator,add oil to the engine & just drive about ....No one can tell me that car was not running for any other reason but God's Power!And I was sure to tell everyone it runs in Jesus Name!

Sweet Jesus Has Never let me down,ever- no matter how big or small,no matter how ridiculous or impossible- Just a teeny bit of Faith & mountains move- Jesus Said So & it's True
