I have said to others that a passed out, drunk, vagrant may very well be greater in God's eyes than many good members of the church.

But why would anyone think that? That a drunk is greater than a good member of the church?

Hello NCAP, and God bless.

You have made a legitimate inquiry and no one would or should argue with that and only Jesus can make an exception to that..

The instructions are instructions, but looked at this man in his suffering

(I do not know how correctly to call it, but the meaning is there)

In his situation day after day...but there is something about him in all these sircumstances which he acknowledged he has learn to lean on the Cross of Jesus Christ and in his righteousness...

No one can take from him what he has, no matter how many scriptures they read to him...the more they try the more his faith gets stronger...he knows that when his appointed time comes that he will be free from the afflictions of this life and he will be resting with his Savior Jesus...

He lives his Life without the fear of death with the knowledge of truth and the Holy Spirit gives him his witness and it's there to help him to witness to others in his company about Jesus Christ and to encourage the others who believe to continue to believe till the very end...by telling them that faith in Jesus Christ saves them...that they are in the blessing of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

What do you mean about entering the Kingdom of God that requires from you not to do all those things...as believer in Jesus Christ...

I will meticulously look into what you have to say...

And who are you to Judge him?

People think intuitions and feelings The Holy Spirit uses to guide a person... it is not true! God has clearly directed mankind through His Word... God's expectations is clearly revealed
John 12:48 (KJV)

[48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

2 Timothy 3:15 (KJV)

[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

People who look toward any other means, for God to direct them, are ignoring the clear, distinct, directions from God....

@Not of the World

Jesus is a very good example that he had to be patient and wait for the right time to bring something up...he tolerated many things of ignorance in his disciples and was waiting for when the time is ripe...to do something about that without them knowing what is going to happen...after something happen then they understood and not all of them...

The disciples were not baptizing Eunuchs and making them equal in the ministry of Jesus Christ...

This is the same situation as if a Eunuch doing the duties of the Priest in the Temple...but this time under the New Covenant the Eunuch was the Royal Priest of Jesus Christ...

Philip baptized a Eunuch in the name of Jesus Christ...but still not everyone of the disciples and they were hundred by that time would step out and do the same thing...or approve what Philip did...

Next thing the Holy Spirit shaw his approval by taking Philip on his own (without the interference of anyone else) through the villages of Judea to Samaria..

The Samaritans were unclean and unsanctify  people for generations and Philip preached the Gospel to them and Jesus gave him miracles sings among them to shaw his approval of what Philip was doing...

Peter baptized uncircumcised Roman soldiers from the occupied force....that's unbelievable to this day even amongst Messianic Jew believers...

And to this day they hold on to that, but they allow groups of Gentile women to joint them in the Service because with the women their problem of Circumcision is not in the way...

What Peter did and what the Lord did that day was not accepted by many other of the disciples....not at first anyway and not if their congregation was a close neat Jewish congregation...

I'm not saying that they are but I am saying that it's possible.  We don't know what is in the person's heart nor do we know their history nor to the level of spiritual attack that they are under.  We can discern that what another is doing is displeasing to God but we cannot judge that person fairly since we are ignorant of the aforementioned and so we cannot judge them at all.

Beautifully said. I pray for that day when my sins will be forgiven, I will be healed, and I will be saved by the love and mercy of our loving savior and shepherd, Jesus Christ, who is Lord!

I like your post because it aligns with the word of God,

If and when my beliefs don't align, please help me to see my error.  I don't participate her to hear myself talk (so to speak) but rather to share, learn, and grow in my faith with like minded and fellow members of the flock.  God bless you all!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
