I would shoot a fleeing child-rapist in the back without hesitation.  No jury in the world would convict someone for doing such a thing.

God would not be pleased with murder. And murder it is as you are neither law enforcement nor preventing a current attack. Christians should never murder another nor ever seek revenge.

A man that would break into someone's home and rape a child is a very evil, violent, and dangerous person.  Such people often engage in murder.  Shooting them in order to prevent them from raping and/or murdering other children would be a justified public service.

Yes they would because they have to follow the law. That's how trials and juries work.

Incorrect.

I am not attacking you Mr. Patriot. To call me worked up when you are the one arguing against a point I never even made is silly.

I don't know about you, but I loathe it when people put words in my mouth and thoughts in my head that I never even expressed.

Perhaps if you respond squarely to what was actually said, and not the alternative version of what was said that exists soley in your imagination people would not feel the need to be sharper in their response. If you refuse to listen, don't be surprised if people then talk louder.

I merely said guns are violent in their purpose and you went off about gun control, the media, the definition of violence, Ireland and an alternate reality version of me.

Lol so calling me arrogant wasn't attacking me? Insinuating that I was overcompensating wasn't?

I mean, I can go on, but I forgot in todays world insulting people is perfectly fine as long as the person your insulting believes something that isn't socially acceptable -even if that thing is morally right.

But how dare they call you out on it. Because defending oneself is as "wrong" as whatever it is they're doing you disagree with.

As a matter of fact you have talked down to, insinuated or otherwise insulted me with every reply you've made to me, excluding your first because I don't count sarcasm. And you know it.

I suggest you take the log out of your own eye before you even look at the speck in mine.

When Democrats talk about gun control,  they mean " let's take peoples guns away ". I personally oppose all gun laws because protecting yourself and your family should be a God given right,  not a privilege only certain people get.  Guns have never been the problem.  It's a scapegoat to disarmed citizens. The real problem is angry and violent people. Why can't the Democrats explain why we don't fix the root of the problem? Let's help people avoid the things that get them to the point where they want to shoot others. I bet Jesus could help with that.

It might be a good primer, but if you are forced to draw to protect your life and the crook turns and runs, you are not obligated to blow them away because of this saying.

If you are in fear of your life and/or health, you don't give them time to turn to run away.

"Should be a God-given right".

A bit of a weird way to phrase that. It either is or is not. Whether civic laws or government allows it is another matter.

Against the law and not permitted by God. It is up to a judge and jury not an average citizen to be a vigilante.

My brother in law was brutally murdered. We had no right to seek revenge. The law dealt with his murderer.

Okay fair enough about the overcompensating remark.

I do however stand by the arrogant comment, because it is arrogant to say people are mindlessly following what they are told on TV. That is implying you believe you think things through and they don't.

I also stand by my other comments because you did indeed attack a point I never even made.

It's not accurate, because it was a true statement. Even if its not true of you (though you have yet to show it's not) it was a general statement. A if the shoe fits wear it type comment based upon observable facts. Most people dont look beyond what the TV tells them-about anything, it's not just limited by guns. People in general have lost the ability to think critically.

It's why the Bible refers to us as sheep, they literally just blindly follow the pack, and believe whatever either tickles their ears or is easiest to believe.

What I made was a statement of fact. Stating it was arrogant is not only a personal attack-its also blatantly false, as the statement I made was factually true and was not made through assumption nor arrogance.

And I don't believe I ever, ever, attack any point you didn't make.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
