The service of the house of the Lord was set in order.

2 Chronicles 29:36 Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people,

since the events took place suddenly.

“God had prepared the people”.

Psalm 110:

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb

of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

“The events took place suddenly.”

Suddenly [H6597] pithome> from [H6621] pethah=sudden,

literally, "upon opening the eyes"

Isaiah 29:5 Moreover the multitude of thy strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude

of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passes away: yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

When things in life happen “all of a sudden”, the Lord is swifter!

Proverbs 3:25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;

26 For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.

In Christ is deliverance from the cruelties of time and chance

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift,                                                                 Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill;                But time and chance happen to them all. 12 For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net,                    Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

The Lord may be long suffering, but when He acts, events occur in “the blink of an eye”.

Isaiah 48:3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth,                                and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.

He will come again to “His Temple”.

Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

Our Deliverer Will Come Suddenly, in an Instant

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,                                          52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Therefore we do not lose heart

Luke 18:1-8 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary. And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. Then the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

For what we seek is eternal

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Blessings MrM

As you probably heard our dear Brother Omegaman has passed away,I was scrolling around looking for words of comfort, encouragement.

Our Hope Remains in Christ Jesus- thanks for these quotes of Scripture- it reminded me to stay focused on what( WHO) is Eternal and remember all of this is temporary.

With love in Christ, Kwik

Another like it.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good,

for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

@kwikphilly Good verse there also; I'm also reminded of 1 Cor. 15.58...'Wherefore....be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord....'

@Mr. M Zeal can be a two-way thing: but a real blessing if it's in a Godly cause..... :)

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

(Hebrews 12:1–2 ESVi)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
