Here are 1-2: [1] There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. His comments struck me- when we sin we are not condemned for it as believers because He has already taken the condemnation away. Instead of having to rely on His mercy to forgive us when we fall we depend upon His justice to accept what Jesus has already done for us! I am no longer condemn-able! God is faithful and righteous to forgive us 1 John. Because the sins were paid for by the blood of Jesus.
