I passed out yesterday. My wife called 911 and I had EMTs at my house. They determined my heart rate and pulse were ok. The issue was apparently chemo related. I felt things going dark and out I went. So now I'm a little afraid to get too involved in much for fear I'll pass out again. The chemo itself is brutal. Pains all over here and there. I still have 5 more treatments over 18 weeks plus hormones theraphy. This isn't wrapping up to be a very fun summer. Every three weeks I go for the infusions.

I am in prayer a lot.It's no fun going from fully functional to wondering how much function I can depend on.

God is till the Lord of my life. At this time use of gifts anywhere has gone right out the window as I'm focusing on how much longer I'll live.

Again bro, no idea how this applies to the topic - can you explain in your own words?  The word, of course, is wonderful, but what is your intention when presenting these verses and how does it relate to new wine in old wineskins (the thread's topic)?

In 2006 this assembly moved into a large building on a large site formerly owned by a trucking and transport firm. Parts of the building were leased out to various tenants who came and went.

Just over sixteen years later the premises has been sold and the Elim assembly has packed up its goods and chattels and left the building. The mortgage and maintenance costs had become more than this administration could manage.

No alternative venue has been secured and the last two Sunday services have been broadcast online from the "senior pastor's" lounge. Apparently everyone is waiting for divine direction. 

I am not touching the wobbling ark. (See 2 Samuel 6:1-7 & 1 Chronicles 13:9-12) 

My wife has developed some solid friendships within the congregation and enjoys a close knit relationship with a small group of ladies who fellowship every week in homes including ours. Sometimes we husbands join them but only two or three times a year.

Interesting times.

Thanks Michael for the update. Sounds good to me. Home fellowships with good relationships are profitable. Meeting together in 2`s and 3`s comes before the great gathering which really only needs to be a few times a year, say for a special conference or teaching.
