Or, how to be blessed in our lives, as the beatitudes propose. "they will be called" means that is how they are recognized by others, as in "you will know them by their fruit".

Impossible. Only found in Christ. You are the only one proposing that someone should "look inside themselves".

This is exactly what the apostles and the prophets preached. It is called "the Way of Peace". Look it up.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

Galatians 3:26 For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

In Christ, we have the authority to become the children of God.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

So what must others see in us that they would call us "children of God"?

Or is it just because we say so?

You can call yourself a Christian,

but only the Holy Spirit identifies the children.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

I do not like messages without clarity...posted without the context...may you have the context in your head....and the reader has his own context in his head...and I spoke about someone who does not know the correct context because it is not comunicated in the post...this is why you need to post the context ...

And your personal judgment towards me it is poor...we need to avoid personal remarks rather talk about the issues at hand.

Please do so...

To the children of God of the old Testament under the Covenant of Sinai and before the New Covenant Jesus said those words because he cannot tell them what Peter told them on the day of Pentecost because he had not die yet.

Because he could foresee that they will become violent towards him and his disciples.

And they were expecting him as the promised King as the son of David to be swift to shed blood like David did to his enemies...they wanted him to kill the Romans to drive them away from Judaea the way David did to the Philippines...they wanted revenge and wanted to see blood the blood of Romans Shed. By their swords...well they see blood and blood was shed on the Cross and that was the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ the blood of the New Covenant...shed for the forgiveness of their sins even the sins of those who crisified him.

And Jesus practiced what he preached he prayed for them and he let them know that God will not hold against them what they had done to him. That he also died for them.

But instead Jesus heal the Romas children and their servants and he never refused something they asked from him.

That's why some wonder why he did say "love your enemies and pray for them " when they were expecting from him to tell them how he will drive the Romans out of the Land and how he is going to fortify the city and the  country when the bulk of the army of the Roman Empire comes to retake back Jerusalem..

That's why Pilate never felt any fear from Jesus Christ...

He had heard the reports that Jesus was a healer and was also healing the Romans...and was preaching "love your enemies ".

God bless

There is "one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." (Ephesians 4:6)

And in our Lord's prayer in John 17, Jesus says He had glory with our one God and Father > "before the world was" > John 17:5.

Therefore, not only was our God and Father present during the early scripture time, but he shared in glory with Jesus His own Son "before the world was".

He has been the same God, all along. But during earlier scripture times God was preparing for Jesus to come in the flesh through the Jews. So, He kept the Jews separate from others so their national identity would not be swallowed up by inter-ethnic marriage before Jesus came through Jewish geneology.

And so He hardened Pharaoh in order to show His power > Romans 9:17. And I see showing His power includes how He was making sure the Jews did not erase themselves by marrying with Egyptians before Jesus came through them.

Therefore, God hardening Pharaoh was related to bringing grace through Jesus . . . making sure Pharaoh and his did not swallow up the Jews in marriage before Jesus brought grace through the Jews.

He will harden and/or resist people (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5), in order to keep illegitimates from interfering with what He has us His children doing.

So, it all has to do with grace, somehow. All has God's grace purpose.

But not all benefit from grace.

And we see how things can be for people without Jesus. They do not get very good standing. Even Jews not obeying God could get in quite a mess, before Jesus came. We see how even God's great wonders and perfect laws did not work, without Jesus.

Therefore the early scripture events do have to do with grace > serving as a foil to bring out how things go, without Jesus, so we can appreciate how much of a difference grace makes now.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
