More of that pesky English language you have a problem with.  Perhaps you should create your own dictionary with all of your own definitions.  You have them, you just need to write them down.  Then again, you'd have to come up with a reason for anyone to accept your definitions.

The fallacy here is assuming God created something imperfect and had to re-do it.  I never said such a stupid thing.  Something occurred that destroyed the land, and God restored it for man's use.

So now you're saying that something beyond God's control laid waste to His first creation?  What is beyond the control of an impotent God?  What force could be greater than God's will regarding His creation?

No, your claims convince no one.

Says the guy who believes that "tohu wabohu" in Gen 1:2 really means the earth had no form, even though in Jer 4:23 and Isa 34:11 the same 2 words describe total destructrion of the land.  I think that may the problem is on your side.

I don't have my own definitions.  I use legit lexicons and BELIEVE them.

No, only those who are actually interested in what God's Word SAYS.

This is a ridiculous question.  Nothing is beyond God's control.  He is omnipotent and sovereign.  But this is the exact problem you have.  You keep inserting your own extremely biased and WRONG opinions about my view.  I never said anything was beyond God's control.

Maybe you just haven't been taught that God's will ALLOWS sin.  Otherwise, He would be the AUTHOR of ALL sin.  Do you believe He is?  Given your reckless comment above, it would seem so.

All I ever said what the something occurred.  I gave no "theory" as to who or what.  And I sure didn't insinuate or claim that whatever it was was beyond God's control.

It is because of your inability to be objective that you can't even follow my views.

You keep assigning ideas to my views that I've never said or suggested.

You are biased and very judgmental.  No wonder you aren't following this.

Just curious, a question to evolutionists that call themselves Christian:

At what point did that subhuman or prehuman little monkey thing that evolved into humans evolve a soul -or spirit if you prefer- as well?

One day God said: heyyy what a nice monkey! No wait it's an ape that's evolved from a one celled organism. Lets now turn this one into Adam after My own Image and let them write down that I created him from dust of the ground just for fun to make it complicated and expect them to read Genesis in a figurative sense.

When one does not believe in the Bible as written, he reads it looking for fractions of verses to confirm what he has chosen to believe.  Luckily for most, other skeptics have already done most of the work.  All they have to do is to cut and paste, and then act profound.  The best "educated" person knows less than an unschooled carpenter from Galilee.  Jesus said we live not by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.  If the Bible is to be God's word, then we can't disregard things just because the world seems much, much older than is recorded.

Evolution, especially.

The Bible teaches the special creation of man,

The issue is that YE creationists don't approve of the way He did it.   Our bodies are formed naturally, like the other animals.   Our souls are given immediately by God, which is how we are created in His image.   Not our bodies.   Our souls.

Jesus was brought up with a solid education in scripture.    And of course, He is God.   So an absolute advantage.   Some of us are a little more familiar with His creation than others.  That's just a relative advantage.

But still an advantage.

I have no problem with how He did it.

Genesis 1

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Exodus 20:11

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

That's how He said He did it, and since God cannot lie, that's how He actually did it.

Yes, unschooled does not equal uneducated.  He knows the Scriptures cold and quoted from them many times.  Had there been long ages coded in, He would have shared that with His disciples.

Since Jesus made no comment on how old the Earth is, we can know that He did not consider it of any importance to His ministry to us.    If it had been, He would have shared it with His disciples.

Maybe we should all think about that.    If you focus on how old the Earth is, or how he creates new kinds of living things, you're missing the whole message He has for you.

Focus on that; you won't be saved by what you think of evolution.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
