Every day is the same for me in taking care of my mom. And I am 73 years old myself and don't walk well like I used to. The first thing I think of when getting up is: "This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 Remembering the above is a good way to start my day. Also, I always remember the following verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We give thanks in everything, not just when things are all going well for us. Our attitudes in life can make a big difference in our days....how we see life and approach things 5 1 1 1

Yet it is a grand privilege too. Privilege? How so? IMO -It allows one to give the same love to the very core of ourself that was given to us when our parents cared for us with their very life and life blood. Is it hard? Damn right it is! Can one really give God thanks for it? Yes one can, for what a privilege it is to be the one that cares and gives care too. May you be greatly blessed for extending your very all in your duty and privilege, may it also be testimony that is seen of Christ in you by those that do see your devotion in action each day and night.

I'll remember this day to rejoice, my sister. I am blessed, and you the more, that you Know Him. Please say hello to your mom for us... 2

There's often more than you think. Sometimes you might have to really push yourself to thank God for an adverse set of circumstances. But reminding ourselves of how we're blessed and learning to thank God for the trying times, even if we feel halfhearted about that, does help us get into an attitude of thankfulness. Even when things are bad they could be worse, and there's always a point to it even if we don't see it. 3 1

God is Good all the time. He could have done away with us but instead is patient and Holy. All the time, Our lives and those of others are of immense value. That is why Yeshua/Jesus died for us. Let us not waste His Gift on trivial things. Every minute we have is so precious. Use all of them well in His Service. 2 1

Sometimes it is not easy but we need to. It does give us a right perspective. 2 1

That word 'patient' makes for a wonderful study and practical application, with doctrinal implications..........

My days and nights are reversed so it is hard to get out of bed before 1 or 2 pm. I have tried all the remedies and suggestions for sleep and sleep patterns without success. Doc took me off the only sleeping pills that actually worked. Yes I do use the time often to praise God and pray, but I need to sleep at night to redeem the time more effectively.
