Jerusalem will be taken. It says in Daniel 12?when the power of the Holy people is broken then all these things will be finished. The Jews control of Jerusalem has to be taken away. I will not bore anyone with my thoughts, why, when, et cetera. If our Lord tarries, one day soon, we will wake up to something significant happened overnight. A Psalm 83 war erupted, Damascus, Syria ceased to be a city overnight, Elam (1/6 of S.W. Iran), where Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facilities are located, is destroyed, and the population is fleeing. (People at my local ekklesia call me the ice cream brother as I always bring several flavors to our monthly potlucks.) And regarding the matter of there always being some violent thing going on with Israel it seems - one can sort of see the alliances forming to come against it. Iran and Russia (and China) are getting cozy, and Iran has much to do with Hamas and wants to see Israel gone. Israel is greatly increasing its natural gas output to Europe, to replace a good portion of what Russia was supplying. As things escalate over time, we could see Russia applying pressure on Israel in various ways.
