In Daniel 7 & 8, we have the two chapters when Gabriel introduces the little horn.
WITHOUT going into Revelation, and based on the many characteristics and the timing found IN THESE TWO CHAPTERS, who is the little horn and when did he arrive?

The little horn is the little country called Israel led by the Israeli government.

It arrived in 1948.After the previous ten horns arrived in the middle east.

Well, I have never heard this interpretation before. Would you please reveal the verse or verses in Daniel 7 or 8 that speaks of the little horn as Israel and the 10 horns that will come in the middle east in 1948?

Thanks.

Sure,it is right here. This describes the forth kingdom to rise in the promised land .The land promised to the saints of the most high who recieve the kingdom under heaven after this forth beast is destroyed. The little horn which is different from the other ten appeared last and it subdued three.

Daniel 7

23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.

24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Daniel 8 says this little horn would be found in the pleasant land here.

Daniel 8:9

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

The persecution of the saints mentioned in Daniel 7:25 ,Daniel 11:33-35,and Daniel 12:7 takes place after a host is given to the little horn by the king of the north in Daniel 11:31 and

Daniel 8:12

And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

The daily sacrifice is abolished at that time.

After this little horn is destroyed out from the promised land ,the saints inherit it forever and ever.

And just so you know, the king of Israel promised that them who overcome will sit with him on his throne. The throne of the king of Israel is in Jerusalem. Not Rome.

So the kingdom under heaven that the saints recieve after the little horn is destroyed is the kingdom of Israel. Not the kingdom of Rome.

Revelation also shows the saints who are persecuted by the beast living in Jerusalem and not Rome after the beast is destroyed.

But you don't want to read anything from revelation so I won't post it .

Well, the only thing you did was copy and paste the verses. I would like you to tell me how you interpreted the verse or verses that reveal the little horn is not a person but a state of Israel. And what tells you the 10 horns arrive in 1948?

Different words for "little" in each chapter; the Hebrew word in chapter 8 better translated "diminutive." That was Antiochus Epiphanies of Greecian origin. The chapter 7 horn is of Roman origin.

I didn't say nor does scripture say the ten horns arrive in 1948.

Scripture actually says the ten horns come up in the kingdom first and the little horn comes up after them, and the little horn is different than the ten.Scripture also says the little horn appears to be stouter than the ten and that the little horn subdued three kings.

I interpret it as ten  countries arose in the kingdom known as the promised land when it was devided. The ten  countries are predominately Muslim. The little horn is different because it is predominately Jewish .The little horn which I see as Israel is also described as being little because of the size of the country .Daniel also described  the little horn as appearing more stout than the other horns before it as Israels appears stouter than the other ten.

And as Daniel said, the little horn subdued three and as well know,Israel defeated Jordan,Syria and Egypt in 6 days when it took control of the seven hilled city of Jerusalem.

And according to Daniel ,the kingdom which the little horn occupy will be destroyed and given to the saints of the most high as an everlasting possession.

Mathew 8

11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Abraham,Issac and Jacob was not promised Rome as an everlasting possession. They were promised the land of Israel.Where the little horn lives today.

Who is the 4th kingdom? Doesn’t the 10 horns and the little horn come out of the 4th kingdom?

Doesn’t the little horn have eyes like a man and a mouth that speaks… isn’t he a man?

Did Israel exist at the time of Babylon, the first kingdom?

Did the 10 horns come out of Israel or the 4th kingdom?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
