They predicted the population bomb, also, a global famine by 1975, a new ice age before the 21st century begins, oceans dead by 1974, acid rain depleting the supply of fish, sea levels covering countries by 2008, no more snow anywhere by 2000, the polar ice cap completely melting by 2018 and many other spectacular events that never happened.  In fact, every two years there's a new eco-threat that's going to kill us unless we sacrifice more of our freedoms.

No snow by 2000 was a chuckle,

Seasonal ice melting and reforming happens every year. But the reforming is not coming back as much and has these guys on the edge huddled up on land.

It's been sighted frequently since 2010 and getting worse. The walrus are bunching up on beaches 35,000 of them in the photo. Because their home is melting away. Their habitat is shrinking, food sources dwindling. Alot of animals depend on a unaffected average seasonal changes of ice at the poles for their very existence.

I can assure you of three things.

1. Climate change is not an issue.  it's just the latest excuse those in power use to further control your life.

2. What WILL throw the world into turmoil is the sudden disappearance of millions of people which could literally happen any day.  In the following seven years, two thirds of the earth's population will die.  That's about 5.4 billion people.  That is a known reality, and yet, where is the warning of that?  Why aren't people worried about the apocalypse that WILL happen instead of the ones that won't?

3. With climate change, those with the resources will always come out ahead.  When the King returns in the skies to take the Christians out of the world, all the riches in the world won't protect you.  If you get saved today your "friends" may give you a hard time.  If you get saved during the tribulation they will kill you.

Why not prepare for the disaster you KNOW is going to happen?

So the CEO of Facebook bought 600 acres in Hawaii and so climate issues is false. Why do people choose celebrities as proponents and not scientists and universities the one's studying the problem. Is really odd.

Read the book of the Revelation.  Before the tribulations are over, two thirds of mankind will have been wiped out.  Prior to that, Christ raptures the faithful; the mass disappearance of millions.  The earth will not be destroyed because someone drives s Suburban.  It will be destroyed because man has not obeyed his Creator.

It would be good to keep in mind that when talking about "climate change" as a political issue we are talking about anthropogenic climate change, not natural climate change.

The issue is not that the climate is changing (it is and has always been in a constant state of change) but whether or not is is caused or accelerated by man and his activities.

There is really no way of knowing this, theories and predictions based on them have , so far, always failed to turn out as they were predicted to turn out.

No sense in digging into you position and opposing each other the way soldiers dig trenches and shoot back and for at each other trying to kill their opponent, that makes no sense at all since logic goes out of the discussion as soon as emotion enters it.

Revelation says nothing about 2031, you said its a known reality in 7 years it will happen. It could be 700 years you have no discernment.
