Do you think that Daniel was shown the same court room event as John, as he describes his vision in Dan. 7:13, 14?

If not, please explain why you see them as being different.

In Revelation chapter 5 what we are seeing is a throne room event.

Jesus set down in the middle of the throne of God.

Jesus having conquered death is worthy to receive glory and an everlasting kingdom.

"And there was given Him dominion, and glory..."
Daniel 7:14

"Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power,
and riches, and wisdom, and strength and honor, and glory..."
Revelation 5:12

The passages speak of the same ultimate end,
the eternal kingdom of God,
described in more detail in Revelation 21 and 22.

Daniel was not shown the same throne room event,
but the visions in Daniel are all about the same thing;
the establishment of the eternal kingdom of God.
And Revelation gives even more specifics about that same thing.

Daniel and Revelation do the same thing,
they tell the same prophecy, repeatedly,
using different visions.

In Daniel that is easier to see:

First vision of the kingdom: Daniel 2:44

Second vision of the kingdom: Daniel 7:14

Third still relating to the establishment of Gods kingdom:
Daniel 8:17,25

Fourth: Daniel 9:27 'the consummation (of time)'

Daniel 11:45, 12:2, same consummation spoken of in a different way.

And so we see Daniel telling the same prophecy,
a prophecy about the establishment of Gods eternal kingdom,
in at least 3 distinct different ways,
different visions, yet all speaking about the same ultimate thing;
the establishment of Gods eternal kingdom.

The book of Revelation does the same thing,
telling the same prophecy, repeatedly.
Yet using different visions,
and each vision giving different details.

The seven trumpets are telling the prophecy over again
with different details.

Some of Revelation 8 has happened already.
This fact is hidden by the idea of 'asteroids' and 'comets'.
We await wormwood and then our response to it.
Wormwood is therefore perhaps something that happens
during the black horse period of time.
During the white and red periods of time 8:5 and 8:7-8 happened.
The evidence of such is the craters we see on the land and moon,
the enemy hides such with the notion of asteroids.
Perhaps during the fourth trumpet the moon gets even more beat up
and the sun likewise.

White and red horses have past.
Trumpets 1 and 2 have sounded.

The horses are one way the prophecy is told,
giving an overarching view of it all.
The trumpets are telling the same prophecy,
in a different way with different details.

The 3rd trumpet is wormwood,
the world will think it is just a random asteroid.

The fourth trumpet effects the light from the sun moon and stars.

The fifth trumpet is the arrival of beast #1
(Rev 9:11, 11:7, 17:8)

The locusts are under his control, Rev 9:11, and the world will likely view them
as random 'aliens' from another 'planet', in this manner what is really happening will be masked, through deception the world will be led to see the beast as innocent.

END TIMES EVENTS:

We are now very nearly at the end of the Christian era. Very soon an attack by a confederation of the Islamic peoples of the Middle East will commence upon the Jewish State of Israel. As Psalms 7:12, 83:1-8, Isaiah 21:2, 22:6, +, plainly tell us.

But all of those Prophesies go on to say how this attack will bring forth the wrath of the Lord. Ezekiel 7:14

The great and terrible Day of the Lords vengeance and wrath Prophesied and vividly described over 100 times;  will come as a surprise and will shock most people. It will fulfil the Words of Jesus about His coming as a thief. Which is not the case at His glorious Return.

The whole world will be affected, with all our modern infrastructure gone and billions killed. Jeremiah 25:33, Isaiah 13:12

Many people will survive, excepting for the Middle East region, which will be virtually depopulated with just a small Christian Jewish remnant remaining. Isaiah 29:1-4, Hosea 4:3, Jeremiah 10:18

After the Day of fiery wrath, the Lord will send rain and all the holy Land area will be regenerated and will flourish. Isaiah 25:1-7, Amos 9:13-15, Joel 2:21-26

It will become like the Garden of Eden, Isaiah 51:3, Ezekiel 36:35

Then the Lords peoples, from every tribe, race, nation and language, Revelation 5:9-10, will be gathered, Isaiah 66:18b-21, Psalms 107:1-43, John 11:51-52

They will establish a new nation called Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, and will elect their own leader. Hosea 1:11, Jeremiah 30:21

The rest of the world will form a government of ten regions, each ruled by an elected President.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
