EPHESIANS 5:25-33 - GOD’S WORD Translation

25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.
26 He did this to make the church holy by cleansing it, washing it using water along with spoken words.
27 Then he could present it to himself as a glorious church, without any kind of stain or wrinkle—holy and without faults.
28 So husbands must love their wives as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself.
29 No one ever hated his own body. Instead, he feeds and takes care of it, as Christ takes care of the church.
30 We are parts of his body.
31 That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two will be one.
32 This is a great mystery. (I’m talking about Christ’s relationship to the church.)
33 But every husband must love his wife as he loves himself, and wives should respect their husbands.

In the lght of this Bible verses, it is very cler that a Christian single man who is ready for marriage knows his duties. Otherwise he must not look for a wife.

Therefore I wonder why a Christian single lady asks for a Christian single man if he can take care of her and why taking care of her is a criterion to marriage.

Indeed, a Christian single man means a man who is led by the Hly Spirit. He mdeitates his Bible every day and he is alao also alert about his duties as a husband and then no one needs to teach him about the roles or duties. If not how can he be the head of his family and then the family?

When a Christian single woman asks some proof he can take care of her, her brother (the Christian single man) vpould think she just wants his money.

MARRIAGE means a lot and so Man and Woman must get to know each other and since they are Christian, take care of one's spouse or not must not be something to be scared of because the Holy Spirit is leading that relationship.

And Man must alsways suffer for her and his family. Unfortunately, we dont want toobey the bible because we chose to adapt it to the what the world requiires today. We were cretaed to glorify God.

1 CORINTHIANS 11:8-9 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

8 Clearly, man wasn’t made from woman but woman from man.
9 Man wasn’t created for woman but woman for man.

Wives are not slaves and they won't be. But A wife needs to help her hisband in his work because she was created for him. So a Xhriostian single man knows always what to do for his wife and then she will always be submlissive.

GENESIS 2:18 - GOD’S WORD Translation

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is right for him.”

As we can read above, God created Eve (woman) for Adam (man). A Husband might not hurt his wife because she a part of him. We suffer in marriage because we diod not follow God's principles.

For example, if your husband is a pastorthen you must assist him to make easy his ministery. You cannot be someone else and block his ministery.

1 Peter 3:1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,

2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel—

4 rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

5 For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.

7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Sorry but it is not clear. As your other post on these verses show, all to often only the part about wives submitting is preached.

Christian men and women need to be taught that Christian marriage is agai St their national cultural traditions, no matter what country or traditions they have.

Christian marriage is a partnership between equals. It is a team/joint function.

A  husband  being willing to give up, to sacrifice everything for his wife.

A wife who respects and trusts her husband will willingly submit to him.

No man who has a sacrificial love for his wife will expect him to do anything hurtful or repugnant to her.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
