You seem like a nice guy, and I pray the Lord will open your eyes to the Truth, but you need to get some Oil in your lamp so you can see.

God bless

That oil in the lamps written in the Holy Bible refers to IS the Holy Spirit of God.

If you have accepted Christ Jesus as your personal savior and beleive He is Gods only begotten Son, that shed His holy blood on the cross of calvary to by us back from the strongholds of sinm and have a daily relationship with Him and have set all your sins  st the foot of the cross and  are now covered by the Holy Blood of Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God works in you, convicts you of your sins, helps you to turn from them sins and transforms you step by step into the child of God (new creation) you were always intended to be.

It is Jesus Christ (Messiah the Prince) who confirms the NEW COVENANT in His apostles and disciples in the final 7 of that 70 week prophecy.

Amen

From something I've written -

He Shall Confirm the Covenant with Many

Excerpt-

"Then He shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the midst of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. – Daniel 9:27

If this “He” above in Daniel 9:27 is indeed referencing Jesus Christ, then this part of the verse is certainly the most advantageous to understand. Therefore, we will begin this chapter with the following three questions.

First, what “covenant” was the Lord Jesus confirming?

Second, how did He confirm it; by word, deed, or both?

Third, if this seventieth week, which was designated as being for “confirming the covenant,” was divided by Jesus’ death which caused the previously Mosaic obligation of sacrifices and oblations to cease, then what about the remaining three and a half years. For from His baptism to His death, Jesus’ earthly ministry lasted only three and a half years?

Since there seems to be a strong possibility that Jesus is the “He” referenced in Daniel 9:27, then these are legitimate questions that need to be asked if we are to remain honest and persistent in our search of the Truth. Furthermore, if Jesus is indeed this “He,” and it’s not the antichrist being spoken of here, then we can also rest assured that there will be biblical answers to all these questions. Therefore, I submit the following for your prayerful consideration.

So, let’s start by looking at the first question again, what is the “covenant” that Jesus was confirming?"

Rest here - He Shall Confirm the Covenant with Many

"Trinity" is also not in the Scriptures;  But as we know we have the Father, Son and Holy Spirit which is a Trinity.  So your belief falls on its face.

Ok - so who are you speaking to?

The "7 year Tribulation" also does not have to be worded as such:  Dan 9:24 - Seventy Sevens are decreed (490 years); which is divided into 7- Sevens then 62 - Sevens, and lastly a 1 - Seven.  One Seven, not a sum of 7.

(3 1/2 + 3 1/2) is a One Seven, but is not equal to or the same as 3 1/2 + 3 1/2 which the sum total is 7, but not a One Seven.  The brackets provide oneness.

v27 - And he will confirm a covenant with many for One Seven (7 continuous years), and in the middle of the Seven he will cease sacrifices and offerings and set up the A/D. ( the dividing point).

Rev 13:5 - and he will exercise his authority for 42 months. v.10 - If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go, If anyone is to be killed with a sword, with a sword he will be killed.  Some have Tribulation here for the first 42 months.

Yes, if the verses also say what you think they are saying, then you might be correct. However, it is the same with the Mormons, Jehovah Whiteness, and every other cult out there that uses the scriptures from the Bible.

Simple question, yes, or no.

It this what you were taught as a young Christian, being given these verses as the foundation thereof, and what you have always believed?

Hitler had no power whatsoever to give. He was a minion of the adversary, a mere puppet.

The error after error is saying this prophecy is past, nothing further from the truth.

The 70 - Sevens are a prophetic timeline for the salvation of Israel.  Daniel's people (those of the 12 tribes) and Daniel's holy city (Jerusalem) have yet to partake in any of the 6 tasks bestowed on them.  We are just waiting for "On That Day" to come in the future.  One more prophetic week remains.

We are not on the same page.  I see you can still buy and sell, so does that mean you have the MOB? Rev 13:17

This is the onset of the 70th Week, which lead to the A/D at the midpoint of the Week.

The new covenant is in His blood, been going on for 2000 years.  Jesus forecast the Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.  Then some time after that is when someone makes a covenant with many.  Has not happened yet.

Only the uninformed would believe as you have stated.  Again the 70 Sevens are but a prophetic timeline for the Salvation of Israel.. "On that Day". Repeated many times in Zech.

In Christ

Confirming a covenant is different than making a covenant  or peace treaty. In order to confirm anything it has to already been established or promised.

Thanks for your side in all that.  I think I know where you are coming from and you seem to know where I'm coming from . . . we both see through the glass darkly and according to the little we've each been shown.   But isn't it wonderful that this is not our oneness - Hallelujah we are one only in Him alone!

I appreciate your spirit, reminds me of John Fletcher...

That is the problem, it is the knowledge of men and the doctrines of men that “exalteth itself against the knowledge of God”

God made “foolish” the wisdom of this world.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
