So then why do we need to be a christian?  if by what you say, we can overcome the sin of Lying, lying to ourselves without Gods help just like any unbeliver can.

Kids and drunk people can't lie and many Dutch people will just tell you your hair looks horrible when you just visited the hairdresser.

Hey,if you think lying is ok, that is your business.

I am no different than the next person, in that we are all sinners redeemed by His Grace.

I was asking this question, because it seems people claiming to be Christian don't seem to bat an eye about certain sins like lying and justify doing so, when the bible is clear that it is a sin.

You may choose to attack me, but my question put out there is DO YOU as a Christian EXAMINE your own self? on a daily basis?

and if so do you think is ok to lie?

What you are missing are that two posts where deleted by another one who posted them and then I get this  following post Clueless as to why your stuck on lying. And you detect someone is lying? I believe God desires this from  us, ie. to have a daily relationship with us in full (honesty) and through this relationship, believe and have faith=faithfulness in Him
