@Dennis1209 and anyone else who would like…I have a question for you…please allow me a bit to set it up?

The Lord Yahshua Himself and the early apostles as well…have said much about the difference between what is referred to as the “world” and the “Kingdom of God.” Here are a couple of examples…emphasis mine.

Yahshua said to the Jews in the temple…"You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.” John 8:23 NASB

In John 14 Yahshua is referencing the “dragon” when He says “for the ruler of the world is coming.”

Later in John 18 He is answering Pilate and states…"My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm." John 18:36 NASB

In Ephesians 2 Paul refers to the dragon as the “prince of the power of the air”…and then he calls the dragon the “spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.”

Then in 1^st John 2…John writes…“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.” (1John 2:15-16 NASB)

My point is simple and should be well known in the church…and there are many more references to the chasm or separation in the scriptures…between what constitutes the “world” and what constitutes the “Kingdom of God.” The Lord Yahshua rules the “Kingdom of God” and at this time Satan rules the “world.”

One powerful delineation for example is…the “Kingdom of God” is from “above”…heaven if you will and the “world” is from “below”…in other words “not” from heaven. Two separate realms…two separate rulers at least at this point…I am reasonably sure most would agree with this position…it is not difficult.

Now in the dragon’s temptation of the Lord Yahshua in the wilderness as recorded in Luke 4…we read…”Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.  And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.   Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

Here we read that Satan showed the Lord “all the kingdoms of the world.” The dragon referred to “all the kingdoms of the world” as “within his own authority as delivered to…him”…and that he could give it to whomever he so desired. There is so much here…

Now we “can see” that the Lord Yahshua flatly rejects the dragon’s offer and rebukes him severely.

However…”we do not see”…the Lord Yahshua contending with the dragon…over his proclamation of…”all the authority of the kingdoms of the world as being under his control.” At this point we can see that the Lord is content to leave things as they are…with the devil in control of “All the kingdoms of the WORLD.” John in Revelation echoes this same reality… “All who dwell on the earth will worship him.”

The “kingdoms” that the devil claimed “authority or ruler ship over" were the “kingdoms of the world.” This would likely be the “world and the things in that world” which we are admonished by John and realistically the Lord Yahshua Himself…“not to love”…if we do love the world and the things in this world…”the love of the Father is not in us.” Think about that?

So these “kingdoms of…and the things in…the world”…are under the authority of Satan as the scripture shows us. The Lord Himself chose not to rule over them when they were openly offered to Him…so what does this mean?

Well…my first thought is…that the dragon is ruling with authority over “All the kingdoms of the world” or that which is from “below.” This does not include the “Kingdom of God” because it is “not of this world”…it is from “above.” Again the separation is clear and obvious.

My second thought is…the Lord Himself rejected the offer to rule the “world” and subsequently rebuked Satan for tempting Him…yet by all indications…allowed him to continue to rule the “world.” In other words…Satan “rules over anything” that is not in the “Kingdom of God”…which is defined as “All the kingdoms of the world.”

So to my question Dennis and anyone or everyone else is…"what is it in your “view” that the Lord Yahshua Christ rejected there in the wilderness that day?"

On voting…I am all good with whatever an individual may choose for themselves. I was registered to vote but not for one party or another…I have not voted since Bill Clintons first term in 1993 largely due to the fact that I learned in that time frame…my citizenry is of an eternal Kingdom not one that is passing away which is being directed by the dragon.

I am in the “world” today…however my “mindset” is increasingly growing along the lines of my Father’s will and desire for me. He is showing me that I am not to “depend upon the world” for my provision and protection because He will see to that for me…and He completely has done just that.

My conviction is that the Lord…does not want me to participate in that which is condemned already and is passing away as you read this…and Ray…I am learning how to do this…and I encourage you and all other believers to something similar.

I did not see it as “too dirty and earthly for you to interject your biblical world view” as you may be suggesting. I saw it as a step of obedience towards God…personally.

Now my response to the rest of your “question”…“expressed as an vote for biblical values?”  Do not be offended but…All the governments of the “world” are satanic instruments of deception and control Ray. Again its fine with me if you don’t see it that way…and I appreciate the question even if once again…it feels a bit pretentious and insincere…maybe it’s just me…forgive me if it is.

Here’s the chasm and the deception…as I have experienced it personally (all levels of church leadership) and understood it prophetically…the “government is already at work in the church.”

She…the church…has been “sleeping with the kings of the earth” for years Ray…since at least Constantine in the fourth century and probably longer than that. Well…you should realize the “to-date results” of that yourself…as should millions of other American citizens. All one needs to do is consider where the result of the last 248 years of “U. S. elections and government”…regardless of how many “Christians have in some way expressed their practical or even biblical values” to government…has taken us too.

It has all brought us to the place we are today…where the two primary parties and their candidates in the race to lead this country…are literally as godless, conniving and perverse as they can be for this time…and…the rebellion and godlessness is growing worse. Scriptures tell us this is coming plainly.

So either God “cannot” impact or effect the governments of the “world” according to His righteousness over all this time…in the spiritually practical manner that you are suggesting…or…it is all supposed to go exactly as it is today…”the world is waxing darker.”

I believe the latter because…John tells us of the beast…in the book of Revelation chapter 13 that “all who dwell on the earth will worship him” this with the help of the second beast.

This is showing us how the dragon will enslave all who “dwell on the earth”…it’s his kingdom and its controlling systems which are all implemented by evil humans and governments Ray.

The key is to be a “dweller in heaven”…if one has received the “eternal life” of Christ…while on earth…that one is considered one who “dwells in the heavens.” Unfortunately most believers don’t realize this.

The prophetic mandate God spoke to the serpent in the Garden of Eden that day so long ago…where God Himself…put a murderous hatred (enmity) between the seed of the serpent (the world that is from below) towards the seed of the woman (Christ who is from above)…is playing out exactly as He…God the Creator…intended it to go…obviously.

Given these realities as I have listed them here for you…you Ray should be able to see where I am coming from in all of this. I am not suggesting that you must agree with me or anything I post…I am merely explaining why I believe and live as I do.

Voting...in the “big picture” has never nor will it ever change these things...it not a democratic problem...its a sin problem.

By now all mature adults should have at least come to the understanding…you simply cannot change human behavior and character with human law and governments. We saw that the Divine law did not work in Israel…it will not work in America. The “sons of God” on the other hand have their own Kingdom and their own Kingdom economy…supplied in abundance by our Father.

According to the scripture the corruption of Satan in creation is supposed to go exactly in this manner…and as you can see it is…and one must remember that the Creator knew all this before He put His creation in place. We are witnessing the fruit of sin my brother…”death – separation from God”…everything that is “not eternal” will cease or die because they are passing away as Paul noted.

Why would I…or anyone for that matter…who has been granted the grace of “eternal life in Christ”…ever…ever…want to participate in the “deeds of the darkness of this world?” I don’t want to…and I am learning my way around this “world”…in similar fashion as my Lord Yahshua did…under His love and admonition…of course…He is my Father and my example.

As the scripture plainly states Ray…there are really only 2 reasons The Lord Yahshua came into His creation as a Man robed in human flesh…neither of them were to be any sort of support mechanism for the “world” that is under the influence of a deluded rebellious and fallen angel…Satan the dragon.

First…He was sent to reconcile man to God through Himself…and He showed this in how He lived His life and ultimately gave His life up for us…thus illuminating how “we” are to go about that very thing “the word and ministry of reconciliation” ourselves. It is this that I am learning and growing in day by day including today.

Secondly…He was made manifest to destroy the works of the devil. This first starts in me Ray…I have spent many years destroying the works of the devil in me…hence I am maturing in this. I have for so many years been working with my family to destroy the works of the devil as I encounter them in my sizable spiritual family. Finally I have worked to destroy the works of the devil as I have encountered them on my journey in the world as the Lord has shown me.

That’s what I am explaining here.

This is your opinion Ray…and that’s fine for you…in my opinion.

It is a difficult proposition however…when one partakes in and puts trust in the dragon’s kingdom and systems…which one can see is just evil and destructive…then encourages others to do the same…believing that this type of “faith and works” will produce the Kingdom of God here on earth…and that they are loving obeying the Lord Yahshua…thinking they have done their part to some degree…

Ray, brothers and sisters…one look at the world around us today should reveal that the politics and governments of men over the last several millennia have only developed a more cynical, evil, destructive, deceptive reality on earth…that has spiritually and economically enslaved humanity exactly as scripturally prophesied. 

Humanity’s…this includes the church…continued involvement in this “world” and its “systems” is a picture of the economic enslavement of Israel in Egypt and the religious enslavement of Israel in Babylon. To continue to be involved in the dragon’s kosmos (world systems) today…as a means to serve and please the Lord God…according to your own desire and for your own provision and protection…is the grandest deception of all time.

For those of us who have been “born again”…we were “born again” into a Spirit Kingdom of power and authority whose King is Yahshua Christ…who reigns and rules His Kingdom on earth and in heaven from the “throne of God”…and I might add that it is increasing!

This Kingdom is from above…it’s heavenly…its godly…it’s loving and righteous and holy…a family whose Father loves and cares for all their needs…physical and spiritual...as we learn from Him to live out "His will"...which is never going to be in support of the "world."

Mankind including the church has almost completely lost sight of this glorious truth. I say that because the church feels that she is the Kingdom of God and building the same…by trusting and putting their hope in a man, party, and government that has become desperately evil in all of its ways…that exists as opposition to the Kingdom of God.

For those who cannot see this…I have wept for you…if you have the Holy Spirit…seek Him for His interpretation of how He desires you to live. Those without His Spirit…you are none of His which explains your ignorance.

It’s not likely perhaps…yet…if I may be of assistance to anyone I will try…but each person makes their own judgments…and this when lived out will produce eternal judgment in us.

This is a “wake up call.” More along the lines of the "last call."
