Yep it is; however interest rates on savings is back to positive numbers. It is a mixed bag for sure. I do think inflation is a world wide supply and demand issue, not just a USA Democrat caused issue.

Inflation is caused by printing too much money.  Period.  Central banks like the Federal Reserve are privately owned, and cannot be audited.   When there has been a push to audit them using legislation, it is always Democrats that prevent it.  Central banks have two tools to control money:  printing money, and interest rates.  They control both.

When you print too much money, the cash is what is 'inflated.'  The more money you print, the weaker the buying power of the cash becomes so that prices go up because it takes more cash to buy the same item.  The item itself, say a house or gold or cheese, does not change in value; money does.  Inflation is also a regressive tax due to printing money.  That is, if you leave cash in the mattress for 10 years, it loses value as they print more.

Inflation has nothing to do with supply and demand of products.  Supply and demand can make certain items go up in price because the more rare an item, the more it costs, but that is not inflation.

I am not going to follow Cesar and march with the Romans.  I have to pay what is due to Cesar; but, that's as far as I go.  Man cannot serve two masters.  Man sells his soul when he doesn't do what is right.  I, too, will vote for a person who does not give in to worldly ways or I don't vote at all.  Will I become a martyr?  I don't know.  I've been a victim before by both dominant parties; but, I refuse to sacrifice my good side by walking in step with man's greed or sin.  Unrealistic for this plain?  Probably.  But I won't have to answer for going against my conscience.

Ha try  buying plywood when the hurricanes are coming, You will see the supply and demand effect on prices in a hurry.

PS I bought my own at a mere $55 a sheet instead of the more historic $8.50 price. But that was down from the $85 peak price so I got a bargain on 26 sheets just before  the big one came through. Praise God for the $1430 plus tax  that I had need of to pay for it.

Ever try to load and transport 26 sheets of ply into a SUV? -life's little adventures.

except for the interest rates being low on savings accounts.

Well? And doesn't that force many a retiree to deplete the principle they have worked a lifetime to save up? All my working life I paid 8 to 12 plus percent for mortgages and then upon retirement Instead of 5 to 9 percent interest on savings I  get one half of one percent with threat that it will go minus,  that savings will be punished it will cost money to save money. Hey there's a deal eh?

Now rates are back to more normal ranges, with mortgages at  higher rates, home pries will stop going through the roof, and are right now retreating some.

Plus savings will not be punished.  I can live with that. praise God for the option to do so.

As Dave Ramsey sells; live like nobody else so that when you retire you can live  like nobody else!

As to the USA borders and those that are crossing it illegally, the only candidate that I know of that has personally spent time interviewing and researching who it is that is crossing now is Robert F, Kennedy Jr..

RFK Jr. has spent time on the border, has seen and interviewed two groups consisting of  some 110,000 men each, none of whom are Mexican. They are 19 to 21 year old males from China and other lands that he has described and witnessed. RFK Jr. wants not only to stop this invasion, but to also find and deport them all.

Trump has been saying this for years, so much so that he addressed it and started building a wall during his term, which was likely part of your wasted time and energy, the unproductive argument you didn't want to revisit, as you referenced in an earlier statement.  Respectfully, I find it strange that a lot of people automatically disagree with Trump on anything he proposes and does, and then if you listen to them long enough they seem to agree with what he does/did in the first place, but vote opposite... strange.  It's like the left's media has programmed them to go against their intuition.

Nothing a little "redneck engineering" can't fix: tie it on top if it won't fit inside, and drive slow . . . lol

Don't know about automatically, but his business history makes one wary of him for sure. He has visited the Southern border  more than once, I had forgotten that.

Walls and fences, are rather useless in the longer run, for no matter where they are built on this planet they always get breached or by passed. What is  needed is to remove any advantage for coming no matter how deep into the county one gets.

Presently USA federal government rules that have existed under both Republican and Democrat administrations  literally punish anyone trying to stop the inflow of illegals.

This is not the only country facing this serious issue. It is part of this "time of the signs". Maranatha.

If you lived in a coastal area when hurricanes hit you would know the facts.
Those who flock and follow disasters are called scalpers, not investors.
Selling Ice, bottled water, plywood, tarps, canned food etc are top methods to 10x their money off the victims. They have trailer loads or large box vans coming into the disasters like roaches.

In the 70's the municipalities clamped down on these shysters with laws enacted.
They confiscate and prosecute.  I went through two hurricanes, Texas coast.
Marshal law, curfew down town, off limits enforced by the national guard.

That was many years ago. When Katrina hit New Orleans we went there.
A group of men from our church stayed at emergency shelter while working.
I purchased plywood, electrical wiring and breaker panels etc at Home Depot.

Home Depot brought in employees/supply trucks volunteering to help

The prices/cost was the same or cheaper than prior to the hurricane.
They kept up the flow of material from suppliers to meet the demand.
The same thing happened in Houston several years back.

Just saying.

Election Betting Odds places Kennedy at a 0.6% chance of winning the presidency.  That is slightly better than Pence at a 0.0% chance.

Election Betting Odds

Doesn't matter, I am not betting. And I am not going to be voting for a choice between two evils.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
