Hi, Please enlighten me as to any place that Trump has as one here put it "professed Jesus". As to listening to Trump I have read,  heard,  and seen him since about 1987ish I think was the earliest date. I just listened to his Rally at Arizona last evening  in it's entirety.

As I stated  there are far more interesting subjects and I believe  far more important ones to be sharing about on  a Christian message board. BUT again it also seems that if I don't walk lockstep with  some that have strong USA political agenda's  of their own I am  seen as not being one of the "faithful".

Truth is I am not! I am not "faithful" to some of the political causes that get wrapped up with a gift tag tacked on  to validate them  that reads "from Jesus".

Why don't you do your own research instead of sending me to fetch the stick for you?  You have a very strong bias against Trump and I doubt you would believe anything I sent you to see.  In fact, I have posted various things for you to see, and you won't even look.

Yet that is all you do.

Whoooh . . . hold on here, and lets back up the accusations truck (if that is what you are doing)!

I disagree with Neighbor on many political things, like tolerating abortion stands, etc. BUT, he has spoken much about his trust and faith being in Jesus alone and not people, which I whole heartedly agree with (and you should too).

I believe Neighbor does have the right to express his disappointment with Trump regarding his previous experiences with the Trump baggage and other stands of Trumps past. I agree with some of them and they are valid points that need to be expressed to bring a little balance to this thread. We all get passionate about the upcoming elections (and we should), but we need to keep our eyes on the bigger picture with Jesus as King, and our opinions 2ndary.

Personally, I know that the alternative of leaving the Democratic administration in Washington with their progressive policies and Marxist takeover is something that MUST be dealt with by the only means we have, namely voting for Trump since he is the only candidate who has a chance of winning and appointing an new administration.

So . . . lets give Neighbor some Christian grace and allow him to express his views, even if we disagree with some of them. Amen?

Grace and Peace . . .

Yes, he certainly has that right.  You will never hear me complain about free speech.

Well I think that the response has more to do with the fact that as Americans we understand that no government should have the right to tell us what to do with our bodies or tell consenting adults who they can marry. The supreme Court went way too far Republican legislatures across the country have gone way too far and given them the opportunity they would go even further. So I understand the response . And just as Gump said that's all I have to say about that. Happy Sunday everyone and have a very blessed day. Let's all pray for each other.

If we are talking about heart surgery or getting dental implants, then NO - the government should never get involved in telling us what to do with our bodies.

The problem - the incredibly and insanely massive problem is - that a pregnant woman carries an entirely separate body in her womb.  A body that the Bible teaches is separate, distinct from the mother, and alive from conception.

And so many who believe "my body my choice" - are woefully ignorant of that fact.  Purposefully denying that God created a separate body in their womb.

Who speaks for the unborn?  Who cares for and protects THAT body?

[1] Psalm 139:13-16 ~ For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

[2] Jeremiah 1:5 ~ "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you -"

There is SO MUCH more.  Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist experienced the Holy Spirit fall on the fetus in Mary's presence and he "leaped" in the womb and she began to prophecy.  He was filled with the Holy Spirit IN the womb.

Isaac's wife Rebekah carried twins and they "fought" in the womb to the point that she had to go to God and ask what was wrong.  He told her that they would grow to be two separate nations that would struggle.

The life in the womb IS A SEPARATE BODY.  A separate human being.

"My body, my choice" and let's just kill the baby is not from God.

Hi all, I have lost track of the thread's subject , guess it is now abortion? ???

I am definitely not an advocate for abortion. I assisted my own wife at a non profit corporation/ Christian ministry in the USA (Florida) that worked oh so desperately to provide alternative's to abortion, also providing  counseling, prenatal care, and needed baby supplies, for new mom's.

We even considered buying that particular nonprofit when it's owner decided to give it up; but another nonprofit put in a bid that we could not compete with.

What I doubt is the ability of perhaps 50 differing laws by 50 States  within the so called United States of America to be able to provide a cohesive well functioning solution to a serious social and moral problem.

What I can see is that Christians ( and others) may make serious  sacrifice of time, money, facilities, housing, and protection,  for the pregnant woman in need of some solution  in addition to  or better put instead of abortion.

Making abortion legal or illegal is not a solution.

I understand your position we don't hold the same position except for your last statement and I never said nor suggested such a thing. God bless you and have a great day.

I posted because I was aware that we don't hold the same position.  All I can do is hope that you can one day believe what the Bible says about the unborn.

Because we don't hold the same beliefs about the Bible and the unborn does not mean that I can't and won't welcome you to the forums.

Welcome aboard.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
