Here is something I've been struggling with, and I think it's relatable.  So many are against the woke agenda.  I believe it's wrong and against what the Bible teaches and yet I am complicit.  I work for a woke company. I buy products from woke companies, watch programming and movies.  I do try to avoid this but it's difficult to somewhat impossible.  Aren't we all hypocrites?  Will we condemned for this?

"We" are all in this world. So far there is little way around the fallen nature of it while on this side of the grass. That said how does one deal with the depravity  that is always part of being here in it's midst?

Not by feeling guilty nor a hypocrite , but instead by  taking time to be in payer, in reading the word of God  in  thinking about the word and acting accordingly as led by the Holy Spirit.

If that means turning off tv or not going to an event that hypes depravity, then turn off the tv and do not go to the event. If it doesn't mean that then how about praying for those that seem  to be living out a deliberate offense against God's will?  Perhaps read think and pray over the guidance and commands within what is now separated out as Matthew 7, pretty much in it's entirety.

This is in my opinion the scariest verse in the Bible I have read so far: But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Only few find it.  These are the words of Jesus himself.  This doesn't sound promising for so many people.  There are many things I can do with God's help to turn away from sins, but I was worried about contributing to things I know are wrong.  I gave my job as an example.  One of the things they are constantly pushing is the LGBTQ agenda.  Emails about pride month, support groups etc.  This is pretty standard in all of corporate America now.  By working for them, am I supporting this?  I help them succeed with my work. This is what I mean by being a hypocrite.  It would be extremely difficult, maybe impossible to find a job in my industry that is different.  I'm not trying to judge these people and I'm learning that I need to pray for them.  Is that enough?

Well on employer's time one does what the employer demands, unless the demand goes against the superior command of God. Then one has to say I cannot do that for it is against the command of God to do so.  Perhaps Daniel 1 is an example of how one that serves a pagan leadership also resists being defiled.

As to the world at large today, it is almost impossible to  avoid the woke agenda, yet one can pray that those of it may be turned about by the Holy Spirit. One can also refuse to affirm the agenda, and will have to work hard at protecting one's own young and the young of the community.  How? Support private Christian schools, support home school groups, attend public school board meetings, vote in elections of School board members . Write personal letters to elected leaders of government. Go to corporate worship and fellowship that builds up strength for the battle that is at hand  today. Be active lend support to those that are on the frontlines of the spiritual war at hand. Take some of the money  as one can afford and sacrificially use it to fight against the agenda.

Most of all make the employer selling the agenda know how valuable an employee they have in a Christian that does not adhere to the agenda.

There are sacrifices ex: I no longer attend MLB games, nor do I watch tv that promotes as normal deviant behavior- Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune game shows being examples. If I should watch a show will I lose my salvation? No. But I will benefit greatly by reading the word of God or even snoozing over watching these very woke  programs.

Just this week as I was flipping by tv channels I saw Jeopardy explaining it's question category "LBGTQ writers". Say what? No thanks ghost of Merv, bye!

May God bless and may you be relieved of fear that the fallen world of today can steal your salvation away.

Prayer is enough as long as we pray like the publican and not the Pharisee.  Acknowledge and repent of your own sins and then take the sins of others to God.

If you feel you need to do more

I don't know if you can ask to be unsubscribed from emails about the pride stuff.   If you can't, just delete the emails, and don't worry about it.

Rest in Jesus, take things a day at a time with God's help.

I hear some companies are now stopping supporting the Woke stuff.   Lowe's is one of them.

I've seen a few now.  I think a lot of companies are against this, but they are pressured by investment companies like Blackrock and some are highly "encouraged" by the current government.  Like I said, I appreciate the responses.

And there is the subject for a whole category never mind thread.

I find that your thread here to be an encouragement  to me, as I too, struggle with the woke agenda and the flat out lawlessness that is seemingly the "rule" of the day in maybe all of Western civilization. I need daily reminder to  be kind to those so lost in their own strong delusions, even to the point that it may  be impossible that they turn about to God. I pray  it isn't so, I am trying to  put more and more of God's word that deals with how to act react and interact with those so affected by these particular sins in the forefront of my mind.

I do think  prayers are being heard and even heeded as God is faithful to answer our prayers rightly motivated, answering in the affirmative.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
