A  BETTER  UNDERSTANDING  ???

 

1 CORINTHIANS 4:16  WHEREFORE  I  BESEECH  YOU  BE  YOU  FOLLOWERS  OF  ME  

1 CORINTHIANS 11:1  BE  YOU  FOLLOWERS  OF  ME  EVEN  AS  I  ALSO  AM  OF  CHRIST 

 

PROVERBS 4:19  the way of the wicked is as darkness they know not at what they stumble 

 

ACTS 22:6  and it came to pass that as I made my journey and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon suddenly there shown from heaven a great light round about me 

--22:7-- and I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying unto me Saul Saul why persecutest thou ME

--22:8--  and I answered who art thou  LORD  and he said unto me I am  JESUS  of nazareth whom thou persecuteth 

--22:9--  and they that were with me saw indeed the light and were afraid but they heard not the voice of  HIM  that spake unto me 

--22:10--  and I said what shall I do  LORD  and  THE  LORD  said unto me arise and go into Damascus and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do 

--22:11-- and when I could not see for the glory of that light being led by the hand of them that were with me I came into Damascus 

--22:12-- and one ananias a devout man according to the law having a good report of all the jews which dwelt there

--22:13--  came unto me and stood and said unto me brother Saul receive thy sight and the same hour I looked up upon him

--22:14-- and he said  THE  GOD  of our fathers hath chosen thee --THAT  THOU  SHOULDEST  KNOW  HIS  WILL  ---  AND  SEE  THAT  JUST  ONE  ---  AND  SHOULDEST  HEAR  THE  VOICE  OF  HIS  MOUTH--

--22:15--  for thou shalt be  HIS  witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard 

 

PHILIPPIANS 3:17  --BRETHREN--  be followers together of me and mark them which walk so as you have us for an ensample

--3:18--  for many walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are the enemies of the cross of  CHRIST  

 

THE  GOSPEL  RATHER  THAN  THE  LAW ??

 

PROVERBS 6:23  for the commandment is a lamp and the law is light and reproofs of instruction are the way of life 

2 CORINTHIANS 4:4. in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not --lest the light of the glorious gospel of  CHRIST-- who is the image of  GOD  should shine unto them 

 

COMPLICATE  IT ??  OR  CORRUPT  IT

 

1 PETER 1:23  being born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible by the word of  GOD  which liveth and abideth for ever 

--1:24--  for all flesh is as grass and the glory of man as the flower of grass the grass withereth and the flower thereof falleth away 

--1:25--  but the word of  THE  LORD  endureth forever and this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you

 

ACTS 20:24  but none of these things move me neither count I my life dear unto myself so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have received of  THE  LORD  JESUS  to testify the gospel of the grace of  GOD

TITUS 2:11  for the grace of  GOD  that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men 

--2:12--  teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live soberly righteously and godly in this present world 

 

1 TIMOTHY 6:3  if any man teach otherwise and consent not to wholesome words even the words of our  LORD  JESUS  CHRIST  and to the doctrine which is according to godliness 

--6:4--  he is proud knowing nothing but doting about questions and strifes of words whereof cometh envy strife railings evil surmisings 

--6:5--  perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth supposing that gain is godliness from such withdraw thyself 

--6:6--  but godliness with contentment is great gain
