I wonder if the modern world will be able to accept the theology that has been followed for 2000 years.I think we are coming to a point where people will not be willing to believe in it anymore.I have already seen hybrid forms of Christianity omitting major parts. One of them is wanting Jesus but not the sacrifice. They are willing to believe in Jesus but not the sacrifice he made that's just nonsense to them but its the foundation of the faith. This is a extremely material world were happiness is now found in a purchase its what the world teaches and faith is losing out to it.

I will make a bold prediction.  I have read Daniel and Revelations and this is how I see things happening .I do not claim it will happen the way I say its just my vision of whats coming given the information I have read.

The Antichrist will come at first not in full power. He will take a fatal wound to the head and be declared dead.He will then seem to be resurrected and with it will come great supernatural power God like power. How else will the world look upon him with wonder and awe asking who this man is.He will be able to resurrect the dead back to this life.He will create a whole religion around it with him as the sacrifice not Jesus. This world wants immortality and its what he will offer and many will come running for it especially the rich who can keep their treasure on earth. Some will even believe he is Jesus. But its a false resurrection it is not eternal life. But remember people want to live for ever in this life and will be fooled - its exactly what they want. How else will he fool the world - when  Christianity has faded enough he will come. He will mimic Jesus but its all lies but the world will have forgotten Jesus.A true Christian knows Jesus is the sacrifice and that that will never change you cannot be fooled with this knowledge our Savior has already come. I think just a little more time and the earth will be ready for the Antichrist.

It's already here.

The Presbyterian, Methodist, and Lutheran churches have been split in two over homosexual marriage and more.  More is coming.

People love to have their ears tickled and most television "preachers" preach lies.

People associate being a Republican with Christianity.  If you are conservative - well, you are going to heaven for sure, right?

The world is FULL of Christians who never open the Bible, never pray, and wouldn't dream of associating with fellow believers in "real life".

When THE final Antichrist [with a capital "A"] gets here, it will be like shooting ducks in a barrel in getting people to believe all the lies.  We have believed them a long time already.

God is going to send 144,000 Jewish males who get saved, 2 witnesses, and one angel flying around the world.  These will  evangelize says the book of Revelation and countless will be saved, but die in martyrdom.

The rest - the lies will be swallowed hook, line, and sinker.  The lies are already here.

We know what the book of Revelation tells us. That is the only information that God wants to give us. The rest is speculation only.

Here are a few things the Bible says about the Beast:

He is Prince of the people who destroyed the Temple  - a Roman Leader
He is one of seven kings who reigned at John's tme - he must be a Caesar
He is dead as John writes. He was, is not and will be - he is then one of five
He is the eighth - the number of resurrection
He come out of the abyss - he must be resurrected
He is a leader of the fourth empire of Daniel Chapter 2 - a Roman
He should only be resurrected after the Millennium - it is given him power to change times
Only one Caesar has his name adding numerically to 666 in both Hebrew and Greek - Caesar Nero
Only one Caesar was one of the five dead one's of john's time, fits the rest of the points - Nero
He will need to be resurrected to compete with Jesus

The Bible doesn't say that 666 means that you have to add numerically to get a man's name.

It would be helpful if you had added scripture citations with each of your claims.

You have some good observations here.

Satan wants to sit on the throne of God.  Ezekiel 28:14 names him as a once "guardian cherub" who gazed upon the throne of God, and grew jealous of the one who sat on the throne, and fell because of it.  And Satan will be given power for a short time.  The dragon, beast, and false prophet, are a Satanic parody of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The deadly wound of the beast, that he survives, is a mockery of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  The name Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12) means morning star, which is a mockery of true Morning Star (Rev 22:16) which is Jesus.

Everything Satan does in the last days is crafted as a counterfeit and mockery of the true God.  And many worldly men will believe a lie.  But some will be saved during the tribulation.  It will be the final wake up call to accept the Way, the Truth, and the Life, or believe a lie, and father of it, and fall with him.

The way to life is narrow and strait because it goes through one man, who is the Son of God, Jesus Christ.  Not because it is difficult or arduous for the follower of Christ, except for worldly opposition.  In the last days of the one world satanic order, this opposition will intensify greatly.  Many will die for their faith in Jesus, joining their martyr kindred of millennia past. But eternal life awaits those who will die for him.  I think the rapture will occur before the tribulation, because those who already believe have nothing more to prove.  But if dying for Jesus is necessary, so be it.  He died for me.

Yeah, I agree 100% with this assessment. I've had some contact with what they call "progressive" Christians. They place a lot of emphasis on "love thy neighbor as thyself" but far less rarely do they emphasize the first great commandment, to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul. I've found that the love and tolerance they claim to promote quite often goes out the window pretty quick when they speak of mainstream Christianity or have their beliefs challenged. This is the sort of thing I suspect is going to become more and more common until God wraps it all up or people get a massive wake up call.

I have about 4-5 people that are Facebook friends who I know well that have "turned" Progressive.  It's heart-breaking.

In my limited knowledge of the Bible, I've learned something.  Jesus talks about hell more than any other person in the Bible.  All the feel-good quotes come from his disciples.  Jesus talks about the narrow path, few find it.  Here's another quote: Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Does Jesus ever say if you just believe in him that you will have eternal life?  Jesus, not Paul or Timothy or anyone else.  He expects us to pick up our cross daily and follow him.  Not just believe and do what we please.  Of course, we will fail. I know we can never earn our way to heaven, but he expects us to do the best we can and to repent when we can't, asking for his help the entire time. When I read John 3:16 I don't think it sounds like what Jesus would say. It almost seems out of context.  Yes, we must believe but it's more than that.  If not, why was Jesus so adamant about warning us about hell?  He taught so much wisdom and how to live properly and what he expected of us.  Why not just tell us if you just believe in me, you will be saved no matter what you do?  I think this is a message of way too many modern churches.  Gay marriage, abortion, mutilating children to "change their gender" it's all ok depending on what church you go to, just believe and it's ok.  It's not ok.  I'm not saying any of this to be disrespectful or blasphemous in any way, just my thoughts.  If I'm wrong, please tell me how and why.  Thank you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
