Nice to hear this when many public figures won't speak of God.

I don’t put a lot of stake in what politicians say in an election. I won’t judge Trump. He isn’t a perfect man, but neither am I.

He says some things that concern me. “We need to bring “religion” back into our country. We don’t need religion, we need Jesus. But again, only Gods knows his heart.
Regardless who is running for office, I focus on their policies. The other side has believers in it too. I would hope they see where the road we are presently on will take us. America needs to repent, to turn. There are still believers here, but our leadership is taking the nation the opposite way. Has been for some time.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil”. This is where we and most of the rest of the world are with respect to our leadership.
The predictions of new atheism have failed. Societies without God only grow worse. They predicted a better world without God. Instead men naturally go to polytheism worshipping self and trusting in their riches. Narcissism abounds at the expense of others. We as a country have encouraged our next generation to believe wrong is right. We have been pushing  in our schools they all came about from one common ancestor. We do them a great disservice. That morality is whatever we want it to be.

Reminds me of every crook and liar who has ever lived and had any kind of authority. We know who the enemy is. What does he do? He steals kills and destroys. Then skips town. Where will the people be who are ruining our nation now? God won’t let them get away. My concern is with those the enemy has blinded to the point they think evil to be good and good to be evil. It’s either wake up or burn up.

James 1:27 (KJV)

[27] Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Politicians no matter who they are tend to tack religion on as an add on. Something  to be observed next to their USA flag pin in a lapel.

Why Harris even used the word Luke in her rally talk to a black church body this week. I kinda think she didn't know Luke's gospel from Cool Hand Luke, but she did the head bob to Christians that she was trying to influence.  Trump has said in the past he likes "the Christians". Gee that is nice too.

God has said; I am a jealous God, put no other gods before me.

I suspect that means He will not be the least bit tolerant of any syncretism where His name, his deity, is tacked onto a cause, or a cause tacked onto worship of Him, in order to validate the  cause of a person or group of people.

I do believe that God has made a change in Trump's life. I think he is sincere. I am so glad he supports Christians. He doesn't mock Christians or God like Harris did at her Rally.

The idea of tacking God onto a political venture is in of itself a mockery of God.

p.s.I remember when some members here previously would state it doesn't matter that Trump is not Christian  like, we are not voting for Pastor we need separate the lack of Christianity in Trump from the good he will do.

Now he is being elevated, even to some to being a a second coming of Moses. Say what?  The USA is not a Christian nation, if it ever was it became  post Christian and now pretty much anti Christian.

No politician is going to be leading a Christian revival in the USA. Fortunately  that is not where our hope lays anyway. Our hope is in Jesus alone. Christians share of Jesus' gospel, one with another, and give testimony of Him to a world that does not yet believe on Jesus as Lord.

That mission, that duty is not going to be  delegated to a President of this land. It is going to remain  the privilege,  personal responsibility, and duty of all that the Holy Spirit calls specifically to turn about to Jesus.

The USA  presidency is irrelevant to that mission.

If you have a problem with it you might take it up with  George and Rivka Whitten. I obtained the one I wear from them and the one I have on my Bible from Zola Levitt.

But in the meantime to share with others here that may be interested  (or not) it is;

"GRAFTED IN"

"The early Messianic symbol, believed  to date  from 2nd century AD, has reportedly been discovered on pottery around Jerusalem. Experts have concluded that it was an identifying mark of early Jewish believers in Yeshua ( Jesus) that tied together  their traditions and their faith. The three-part  design beautifully illustrates the truth of Romans 11:17-18.

The Menorah (candelabra) at the top reminds us of  God's Torah (the Law) and His promises  to Abraham in calling out the chosen people.

The Magen David ( Star ofDavid) in the middle recalls  the establishment of the Davidic monarchy in the Land of Israel.

The Fish at the bottom, an early symbol for Yeshua ( From the Greek ichthys, an acronym  for Jesus Christ, SoneOf God, Savior), shows  that the gentile has been grafted into  the Jewish root through faith  in Yeshua, the messiah of Israel, the fulfiller  of the Torah and the rightful king in the line of David.

The Fusion of these three symbols demonstrates that Jew and gentile are truly one in  in Messiah, reconciled through His atonement, the middle  wall of partition having been  broken down (Ephesians 2:14).  May this symbol inspire  you and lead you to share these truths with others."

Note; Credit  the above explanation to "Zola Levitt Ministries", and my departed to soon friend Zola; and the ministry  now more often seen under the name or title  as "Our Jewish Roots".

I do thank Rivka Whitten,  my favorite female vocalist, especially for helping me select my "Grafted In"symbol that I wear and cherish. The one I selected when George Whitten  was speaking at Shoresh David a bit of time back. Plus I thank  this ministry for providing to me  the Grafted In  Avatar as I was unable to do that myself.

Praise God for the several very kind and devoted servants, friends of Jesus, that He has allowed me  pleasure and privilege to meet for at least a little time during my own sojourn. God is absolutely awesome!

You were addressing syncretism, and you have a syncretic symbol as an avatar.  I was pointing it out and asking about it.

You would seem to want to be a victim before giving anyone the benefit of the doubt about asking a question.  I don't have any problem with syncretic symbolism, although the process itself always needs an explanation because the religious symbols chosen are always dissimilar beliefs.  These religions disagree, but there is a commonality between them. I can appreciate the new symbol as an attempt to represent the unity or commonalities between the two faiths, despite their being distinct beliefs that don't agree.

I think Trump means to support legislation which wouldn't hinder or prohibit the practice of our Christian faith.

Whereas Kamala and Walz would be more apt to approve of legislation that would call Christian talk of sin as hate speech.

By their own words and actions, Kamala and Walz are very much into the Woke, transgender and gay culture.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
