No idea.

There was another news video of people driving slowly in cars and leading three horses out by holding the reins as the horses walked along side..

As a professional animal trainer & CAAB flapping her arms gently behind the ( very calm btw) horse is not the problem- the woman facing the animal from inside the trailer was- happy to see the gentleman that lead him in properly & thats how very simple it is to " lead " a horse into a trailer

Horses vision is very different than ours, they are a  herd animal and prey-they can see best what is to the rear and on the side where the woman in the rear was standing with the head position raised- woman in the front not only did not allow him to " see" what he was stepping into by pulling his nose up but also by facing him she was perceived as " cinfrontational" and threatening- preys reaction is fight or flight

Leading him properly allows for him to see where he is going,no danger ahead and also it's natural for herd animals to follow your lead( with your back towards them)

Perhaps yall find that interesting and informative

In 1992 Hurricaine Andrew wipe out majority of Miami farms ,ranches,stables- it took a huge effort to round up displaced, panicked and very exhausted horses. It's always nice to see people volunteering to rescue animals( even if they don't know what they are doing, lol)there's usually someone around to supervise and organize- thsnk the Lord for kind hearted people

Yes, I thought that person inside the trailer was a problem.   Glad they finally figured it out.

There's a lot of horse country in Southern California.   I'm in the heart of the city so no wildfires... although this building has had three major fires, two of them in apartments next to mine!   Very scary...hope, pray there's no more.

I used to be licensed in several States( California was one) - to train on any paramutual racetrack grounds you must possess a State Horse Trainer( or Owner or Groom) license

Many years ago I worked with some terrified horses  an owner breeder shipped here from San Luis Rey Downs where many horses perished in the fire- I gave up my Cal license when I was too sick to train so I lost touch with alot of owners out there, thankfully my friends at a track here were more than happy to let the horses recover here under my care- some of them were unable to perform again but went on to pasture for breeding,2 were sold privately to really good owners ahd used for pleasure riding..... very sad.

I'm glad you are out of harms way, fire is terrifying

How did those fires start in your building- separate incidents or related in some way?

Been in this building since 1974 so the three fires were spread throughout the years.

First fire:  Across from bedroom window, wee hours.   Heard an explosion.   Looked out, flames were going from first floor apartment up towards the third floor already.   We thought the two young guys and an old man in that apartment had a drug lab that exploded because they were seen going down the street, never seen again.   Those young guys always wore chains for belts, another clue!

Second fire:   Wee hours, heard noise.   Looked out, saw my neighbor, Roland, dragging the fire hose while in his underwear.   I called 911 but the operator thought I was kidding.   He asked how I knew there was a fire.   I said my neighbor is dragging a fire hose while in his briefs!   Finally my smoke detector went off...mom and I were trapped because of too much smoke in hall.   But fire department came, got it out eventually.   They had to axe through the wall as they found out Roland was a pack rat!

Third fire:  Happened maybe six years ago.   5:30am...my eyes flew open in bed as I smelled smoke.   By the time mom and I were opening our apartment door to try to leave, the firemen were just coming by our door.   They told us to get back in the apartment.   Smoke was filling apartment so I called 911 to tell them.   So they sent two firemen to lead mom and me out safely.

I'm not sure how it started but I thought the Filipina neighbor left a religious candle burning.  Because she and her husband were on their way to church at that hour on a Saturday.

Thank God, some passerby on our little, quiet street was going by around 5am or so....they saw the flames and called 911.

Our wing was totally burned up, looked like a bomb had dropped.   Our apartment was ok inside.  But smoky smell for a couple of months especially in our wing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
