I'm happy to say AT&T was very good at chucking all political texts directly in the Spam folder for me, and the same for Gmail though a few managed to sneak past the filters before being sent directly to the Spam folder. Didn't get many phone calls although I avoid answering unknown numbers and let 'em go to voice mail jail. So I basically black-holed all the garbage. The USPS box filled up a few times, but that's at the UPS Store - and they have shredding! So, straight to the secure shred bin!

. . . and so now it's officially Election Trash Season . . . because AZ law requires candidates to clean up the signs. The homeless are using many of the really big ones for building shelters out of too.

I never received a single political text, email, or item of junk mail in my mailbox. It was perfectly spiffy, old fellow.

I prefer the sign my neighbors hung on their apartment door in English, Spanish & Russian:

During the campaign . . . I got email and postal letters asking for money to support Trump and Harris.

They are scams designed to get money from people and NOT to go to campaigns who probably never heard of those organizations IF they exist. Unless I know people personally I never give to various causes. I did give to an church who had people on the ground with other churches in North Carolina. No overhead expenses and the money went straight to the hurting people for various supplies and assistance.

Many of the scammers probably originate in Indonesia. And yes . . . I was hacked once by them (along with 1K others) who actually hacked into the IRS database.

Most political advertisements are targeted toward swing voters, those with no political affliction, and those registered with 3rd party political organizations.  If you are registered as a republican or democrat, they don't see a huge need to target you with political ads.  I am a registered republican in Oklahoma and have not received any presidential adds in my mail box or emails.  I did get some ads for local and state elections and I did see a few 5-sec adds on youtube just before presidential election.  Maybe if you live in a swing state you may have seen more.  Oklahoma is not a swing state.  When I lived in Florida, I was registered as a libertarian for a short time and it seemed I got bombarded with political adds from both democrats and republicans.  It did not bother me either way, I found all these paper ads made for good fire starter in my fire pit.

  Happy birthday   cant believe you lot get a card that tells you who you vote for   we get a few flyers in the door and one card to tell us where our polling station is and what our registration number is and thats that
