Republicans just can't rule- It is not in their genetic make up!

Already the infighting! The  Republicans never get together for long if at all. They are made to be back benchers, that is about all they are ever good for.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Thursday she would be open to supporting Elon Musk for House Speaker, an idea proposed by other Republicans as Congress faces a government shutdown Friday night.

Musk railed against the continuing resolution (CR) negotiated by Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) throughout Wednesday, helping tank the bill. Johnson is now considering alternative plans with less than two days until government funding runs out and with President-elect Trump now calling on lawmakers to lift the debt limit as part of a spending deal.

Yet another "coup" attempt underway, though not brilliant, maybe just another turning of the snakes to bite each other.

Did USA Senator Rand Paul just happen to come up with this on his own today? Just another isolated  incident, a US Senator just happening to  be getting involved in the workings of the US House of Representatives?  I don't think so. A coup underway?

 

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) suggested Elon Musk serve as Speaker in a Thursday morning post on X following contentious debates over the continuing resolution (CR).

“The Speaker of the House need not be a member of Congress . . . ,” Paul wrote.

“Nothing would disrupt the swamp more than electing Elon Musk . . . think about it .  . . nothing’s impossible. (not to mention the joy at seeing the collective establishment, aka ‘uniparty,’ lose their ever-lovin’ minds).”

Later Thursday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said she would be open to supporting Musk to replace Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) in a post quoting Paul. 

“I’d be open to supporting @elonmusk for Speaker of the House. DOGE can only truly be accomplished by reigning in Congress to enact real government efficiency,” Greene wrote on X.

“The establishment needs to be shattered just like it was yesterday. This could be the way,” she added.

Elon Musk will not want to be speaker of the House, He has enough full time enterprises he needs tend to but to be the puppeteer over a speaker of the house with his hand up the puppet well ego being what it is h could be persuaded.

Ah Republicans, they just form circular firing squads. They are the Stupid Party, playing their role up against the Evil Party,  each  doing  their own part in the US political duopoly. It is like watching and reading something from WWE.

I had hoped all that nastiness would have ended after the election.

I am a Republican, it does get so sad to see elected Republicans  forever failing to unite and accomplish what they stand for. They haven't even started as a majority and they are ruining their existing leadership, undercutting their Speaker of the House as a start.

  Does not matter if you are a Donkey or an Elephant... both sides lack a common vision for our country.  And just like Trump's first 4 years where both sides fought him, so it will be again.  Trying to find a unified platform is just not going to happen.  Some truly want this country to become 3rd world as that in their mind is fair.  Can't bring other countries up so they feel they must bring the USA down.  Only if the USA loses it's power and influence in the world will it be ready for the one world government.  

Others who want to make the USA great, prosperous and independent, can not agree on how to accomplish it.  Some feel the only way to purge the government of the globalist is to become despotic.  Others say no, do not want to give up "rights" to make a right government.   There is no easy answer or solution.

My own thoughts are:  the only way to purge corruption and the oligarch government we currently have, is for a global catastrophe to occur.  Our government is owned,  Money is the factor in the world right now, so that central collection of world finances has to be destroyed, and that can only happen with a world wide major collapse of all governments ..... end of earth as we know it event. 

God has given us resets in the past, Garden of Eden, flood, tower of Babel, and the final message and chance,  Jesus. 

End of the age is what we look forward to, because as Christians it is not the end, but the beginning of a new life.

May it come quickly.

Prayer for those in leadership is all we can do.  Miracles do happen.
