Someone asked me if a "Witch" can summon the dead.

Ask Samuel the prophet, Samuel said, and I quote "Who is this that awakens me from my slumber"?  Samuel himself wants to know.  Samuel did not consider his awakening as being from God. 

The bible warns us not to underestimate Satan.  I'm not talking about giving Satan more recognition than we ought. However, having said that, the bible itself recognizes Satan as a threat.  Satan says to Jesus "worship me, or serve me, and I will give you all this", and Satan goes on to describe and show Jesus all that Satan has to give Him.  Imagine, Satan having the power to not only tempt the word of God who created all things, but the power to offer Him a deal.  

In the Thirteenth chapter of the book of Revelation, it reads regarding how the power of the anti-christ was achieved, it says "...and the dragon gave him (the anti-christ), his power, his seat, and his great authority.  If Satan can grant that to an anti-christ, he can grant that to a witch and to governments and give them the power to persecute the righteous, and to deceive them.  We have the power of the blood and the power to resist.  But remember what the Jesus says to us.  They hated me, they will hate you also.   We're not magicians, and neither is God, the Son or the Holy spirit.  DO NOT BE DECIEVED! We are in a spiritual WAR, and the last battle of this dispensation will be HARMAGEDON, Armageddon.   We are called to persevere to the END.

A witch cannot actually summon up the dead.

God made an exception in the case of the disobedience of King Saul. God sovereignly allowed the dead Samuel's spirit to be summoned up. This shocked the witch whom King Saul had employed for the task. 

 Deceiving demons who ransack the memories of dead sinners imitate them. This is total deception. It is not actually the dead person being summoned up at a seance. 

 Another exception is that Satan will be permitted to summon up from the dead a past evil person to inhabit the body of an recently assassinated person in Revelation chapter 13.  That composite person will be the Antichrist. 

 Human beings otherwise are not able to summon anyone up from the realm of the dead.  Of course the Son of God Jesus Christ can resurrect anyone from the dead.

God did not make an exception.  When Moses turned his cane into a snake, the Phaero's sorcerer's duplicated the same, and the three snakes actually fought because THE SNAKES WERE REAL.  God din't make an exception.  Jesus said "I came to destroy the works of the devil".  The devil WORKS and he WORKS hard. 

You can't show anyone where the bible says God makes exceptions for witches to summon the dead.  You like to make bold statements without showing the scriptures.

The devil is a very clever deceiver and can easily deceive those gullible  or desperate  enough to want comfort from dead loved ones.

Don't  under estimate the power of grief and of guilt.  The only true comfort and peace comes from knowing Jesus as ones Lord and Saviour.

It is because  there is issues skilled at deception that we are commanded to have nothing to do with mediums etc etc.

I kindly lovingly disagree with " God makes exceptions/God allowed"  If it could not be done God would not have said "don't do it".  I don't believe there is anyone today that can summon the dead to then talk to them as in the OT.  Christ came and died and rose AMEN! So no they cannot. A song was made about a true story where a male witch sent a letter to this preacher to come visit. To make this short he went over and the witch showed him all these newspaper clips of things that did happen and was caused by that witch. The witch comes over to where the preacher was sitting leaned in and said "what can your God do". So sitting there starting to really worry saying "God? Hello please say something". Another min or two went by the preacher again almost begging God to do say something and God did "Don't put me to some stupid test". 

Greater is He that is in us then he thats in the world. He gave us all power/authority over the enemy. ...so no they can't but did you know Christ came died for the worlds sin.. He loves you set you free... blah blah blah. Always focus on Christ

Listen closely.  The witch/seer, did not raise Samuel from the dead.  She awakened his Soul, not his body with flesh and blood.  It was not a resurrection or even a temporary resurrection (no such thing) of the body.  They saw an apperition of Samuel, and he was angry with Saul and spoke a prophesy to Saul of his own death.  

There are those who live among us today who are called Automatic writers and can communicate through what is called "channeling" with spirit "guides" on the other side.  They allow themselves to be possessed while in a trance and then commence to write as that spirit wishes.   Same with modern psychics.  

The Antic-Christ himself will be a Sorcerer.  The greatest that ever lived.  Jesus Himself will need to come down to destroy his work of deception for a millennia.  After this, he will be released and again he will deceive the nations.  Satan is called the master of deception,  that is what a Sorcerer is.

There are several postulations on this by theologians and scholars.

1 Chronicles 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit [demon], to inquire of it;  [emphasis mine]

The Endor necromancer was shocked and awe of what she thought she had conjured. It was not the familiar spirit she had always used as a medium.

As mentioned, some think it was Samuel, and some believe it was a demon. I cannot prove it one way or another. However, based on the context, verbiage, and circumstances, I lean toward it was Samuel.

1 Samuel 16:14-15 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. ¹⁵ And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

Briefly, the Lord sent Saul an evil spirit, David administered to Saul, and music eased Saul’s torment, and Saul made several attempts to murder David.

An evil spirit is a demon, and demon translates to intelligence:

The word “demon” does not appear in the kjv, which mistranslates daimōn. as “devil.” There is only one devil (Greek diabolos), who is known by a variety of names, titles, and epithets in the Bible.^[1]

Demons (and fallen angels) are not omnipresent, but how do they know what others do not? Are we constantly being watched, influenced, and observed by the princes and powers of the air? The spiritual realm has millennia to watch and learn compared to our average of 72 years.

I would list the attributes of demons and what they do, but it is too lengthy. Typically, they do not work individually but collectively; they have combined knowledge over millennia of history, people, and events.

Necromancy is a gateway to demonic possession (familiar spirits) and a path to a legion of indwelling demons.

hello

 

i personally do not believe that anyone can speak to the dead nor summon the dead or commune with the dead but that all attempts that have been thought to be successful were contact with spirits of demons or perverted spirits of evil forces and not the spirit of the dead human.

I am not saying that I am right and another is wrong  - -  i am just saying this is what I believe,  -  personally.  

i was thinking about the Salem Witch Trials and here is what I believe

 

 

The first Puritans to arrive in America aboard the Mayflower in 1620

AND –  Only 59 of these 102 Mayflower Puritans survived the first winter after arriving to America.

None of these remaining Puritans 59 Puritans are recorded or known to have ever persecuted or harmed anyone. And the Salem witch trials did not even take place until February 1692

THIS IS 72 YEARS AFTER THE MAYFLOWER PURITANS ARRIVED TO AMERICA

72 years AFTERWARDS ! –  these original puritans were not even alive to defend or accuse the indicted witches that were killed for witchcraft.

I wonder if the ORIGINAL TRUE PURITAN COMMUNITY had ever persecuted anyone at any time.

From 1629 through 1643, –  approximately 21,000 people CLAIMING to be Puritans immigrated to New England –  and the Salem witch trials did not even take place until February 1692 , 72 years after the first Puritans began arriving.

Could there have been thousands of people simply claiming to be Puritans who would go about persecuting others that they wanted out of their way in order to profit and benefit ? we do not see any connection to the Original Puritans aboard the Mayflower connecting these families or their grandchildren to conducting violence or persecution

Also, England had already begun dumping and criminals and deviants and convicted criminals into America since 1610 –  ten years before the Puritans even began moving to America.

Could it be that the original TRUE Puritan majority truly had any influence or involvement with executing or persecuting anyone and from 1629 through 1643, –  approximately 21,000 people CLAIMING to be Puritans immigrated to New England –  and the Salem witch trials did not even take place until February 1692 , 72 years after the first Puritans began arriving.

I am contemplating the possibility that anyone could claim to be a Puritan, and by the 1700s there were around 250,888 Europeans living in America.

In conclusion –  I ask –  what if much of the history involving the Puritan community is false and has been manipulated ? I just wonder if any real original Puritan would have persecuted or harmed anyone.

And this violence conducted by Puritans was 40 –  70 years after the ORIGINAL Puritans aboard the Mayflower had arrived.

How can we expect any accuracy in an environment so manipulated and unorganized with thousands of mostly criminal and desperate immigrants flooding and rushing into America? how many people were in America from Europe working to manipulate and destroy the reputation of the original religious communities, while simply high jacking the name of Puritans. ?

When we study we find that none of the “  Original Puritans “  who came to America were involved in persecuting anyone –  anywhere.

THE FACTS –  after the ORIGINAL PURITANS arrived in America –  by 70 years they were surrounded by hundreds of thousands of prisoners, murderers, the mentally insane the feeble and elderly and masses of the most criminal and deviant and evil people that were in England.

King James had already been flooding the Colonies with all of the unwanted of England –  even five years before the Puritans arrived –  as early as 1615 –  and the Puritans arrived in 1620

+ The Puritans came to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1629,
 + the Saybrook Colony in 1635,
+ the Connecticut Colony in 1636,
+ and the New Haven Colony in 1638.

The SALEM WITCH TRIALS were in –  1692

There were Between 50,000 and 120,000 British convicts shipped into the colonies this is not including the mentally insane and the poor and elderly and the people England, Spain and France had been bringing to America to seize control and power –  over everything.

Also, there was French and Spain that were shipping in individuals to influence and seize control of the colonies –  all of this –  combined with the war that Europe was stirring up with the Native American Indians

Would it be impossible –  70 years after the ORIGINAL Puritans arrived for this very small and minority community to have any control of anything around them –  The Original Puritans were forced to depend upon the greater community –  and were a very, very tiny minority.

To me it seems impossible for the ORIGINAL EARLY PURITANS who were seeking religious freedom to have any influence upon their community –  under these circumstances 50 –  70 years after they arrived. This minority, were not in control and simply had no control over sentencing and executing or judging anyone for anything.

ORIGINAL EARLY PURITIANS quickly became a minority group among a massive tidal wave of hundreds of thousands of pagan barbaric European religious psychopaths who simply were using the PURITAN NAME and some of the PURITAN core faiths to persecute others around them.

Has history has labeled the Puritans as promoters of persecution –  without any real evidence ?

Who has promoted this history ? –  religious psychopaths

The Only EVIDENCE is showing that by 1692 –  70 years after the Puritans first arrived there were hundreds of thousands of evil, barbaric individuals and criminally insane and powerful influences from Spain, France and England who would have easily rewrote history and blamed the very tiny and very small minority group of Puritans for killing and persecuting others –  when they were the ones who orchestrated all of these events.

This was the goal and the objective of all of Spain’s, France’s, and England’s Governments and powerful elites to suppress, undermine and drive the ORIGINAL PURITAN COMMUNITY INTO THE DUST.

I believe these religious psychopaths and Governments in Europe succeeded in destroying the Puritan Community and destroying their reputations forever. This was their objective –  it was what they were actively working to do.

HOW COULD THEY   FAIL ? –

they threw everything they had into America to destroy the ORIGINAL EARLY PURITANS –  by 1692 the Puritan Community was not the same community.

Nearly half of the first ship of Puritans died of starvation the first year they arrived –

other small groups of ORIGINAL Puritans –  soon thereafter arriving –  who were good and decent and caring and defenders of others religious freedoms arriving in America would quickly become a very, very small minority –  so small to even imagine –  surrounded by the hundreds of thousands of criminals and unwanted insane barbaric that England had pumped and dumped into America.

Could these larger communities simply have used the Puritan name and twisted their core beliefs and labeled their criminal activities against others as Puritan motivations.

THE GOAL OF THE EUROPEAN –  WAS TO COMPLETELY DESTROY –  OUTNUMBER –  OVERWHELM and BURDEN THE PURITAN COMMUNITY AND DESTROY THE ABILITY TO PROSPER AND INFLUENCE OR GUIDE ANYONE.

I BELIEVE IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE religious psychopaths  OF EUROPE COMPLETELY SUCCEEDED and did it very easily.

The Bible shows that people such as Necromancers, Wizards and people who have a Familiar Spirit are people who have Spiritual ORACLE with evil, demonic powers of observation, prophecy, precognition, and foreknowledge

and people were consulting and enquiring of them for knowledge about things that they wanted to foreknow.

If the Bible is true - and if these people were literally speaking to demons and evil spirits of darkness and devils, it would explain why God commanded that the Israelites to destroy and remove them from the land, because their power to literally communicate with evil was truly real.

 Could it be true that whatever the witch was in contact with, knew the future of Saul and knew what was going to happen regarding the future of his kingdom ? 

The Scriptures count this action of communication with a spirit to contact the dead is a punishment worthy of death, so........ this means that this art or craft is dangerous

also ..... please notice that the passage below tells us that the witch was in communication with a familiar spirit that was in contact with her.

1Sa 28:7  Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit........... a woman that hath a familiar spirit     :8  Saul ..............and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

 

how would this evil, demonic witch have any access, power or gift or ability to raise up the Spirit of Samuel - God’s holy prophet, whose spirit was sleeping in the world of the dead and in resting in safety in the hands of Almighty God - 

This evil woman literally reached into the world of the dead, took control and overpowered Samuel, crossed him over dragging him over into the land of the living - and forced Samuel to also commit evil sin and an abominable, wicked and ungodly sin act, and Samuel himself also, was forced to take part in using and communicating with an evil spirit to summon him to speak through an evil witch. ? 

Why would Samuel, after completely cutting all communications with Saul while he was living, because Saul was so evil, so wicked and defiant and disobedient unto God and a traitor to His people and also to Samuel. 

Now suddenly Samuel is dead and - NOW SUDDENLY - finally at last - it is through an Evil Demonic Spirit Of Satan - and a Possessed Witch - and A Demon-Possessed Man named Saul, suddenly Samuel grabs the perfect opportunity to finally speak and talk to Saul.

This would be a sin and abomination, for Samuel to even take in any part of using an Evil Spirit of Satan - and a Witch to make a conversation with someone. And this someone ( Saul ) was even a man who he had refused to speak to, visit and be around and talk to - when Samuel was alive and living.. Samuel would be taking a direct part in this sinful act and be just as guilty as the Witch, The Demon and just as guilty as Saul. 

This sin was so evil, it was punishable by death.   Samuel had left Saul, refused to ever speak to him ever again or have anything to do with him for the rest of his life. Because He was evil.
