I always was glad Carter confessed to being a Christian.    But I was shocked that he wanted to vote for Kamala since she supports ungodly things.

I wondered if he was so old that he didn't realize she was into the gay and transgender agendas amongst other things.

Nice to have you join us from Italy.

I have often wondered if he was in his right mind if he said it? After all he was 100!! I almost wonder if someone else was speaking for him and maybe he didn't say it? Yes, it disturbed me when I read that he wanted to live to be able vote for Kamala. It seems a grandson was speaking for him in some of the reports I read.

When John Lennon released his solo song, "Imagine," he was a peace advocate. The focus of the song was one of peace, and living for each other.

He chose elements of religious belief, materialism/personal possessions, and governments as examples of the conflicts plaguing the world during the late sixties/early seventies that he felt separated us from one another and were usually found at the center of most conflict in this world.

The basic message of the song wasn't to erase belief in heaven or hell anymore than it advocated the removal of all national borders, or denying people to have personal possessions.

It was his call to people to take a moment to imagine what we could be if we didn't keep feeding our need to be divisive, superior, or in conflict with each other. He wasn't promoting his atheist beliefs, but only that it is one point of contention between people.

The song can also be accused of being anti-government, despite its being played at the funeral of a former world leader.

It's just about fantasizing about peace in a world of conflict; about considering others as brothers/sisters and not as enemies everytime we're in contact with them.

Carter was a peace advocate. Perhaps whoever selected it for the funeral was probably focused on Carter's dream of world peace.

I recall hearing the Bette Milder song, "From a Distance" being sung regularly in churches in the 1990's, and being thought of as a Godly song, until you understand the lyrics and realize it talks about God not caring for people who are sick, dying, oppressed; and, that from His point of view everything looks just fine... But only from a distance... (The recording was popular as an accompaniment recording in Christian book stores.)

Yeah . . . I see what you are saying . . . BUT . . . IF I don't remain alive unto the coming of the Lord . . . I do hope that my funeral has songs of faith, hope, and Jesus centered lyrics. Otherwise I would prefer the 'Hokie Pokie' to an atheist song . . .

And who knows what might happen to that song being sung at my funeral. . . "I put my right foot out . . . and I shook it all about . . . ." with ladies fainting and men shouting at the sight LOL (sorry . . . but . . .  not that sorry lol).

Ray . .

This a political song that is directly about Socialism.  I wrote this in another thread about Kamala Harris, but it applies here as well.

Socialism is a direct replacement for Capitialism, and once you understand that a Socialist has to destroy Capitalism so that they might implement Socialism, it becomes clear what they are doing.  Their bad policy is not a misunderstanding of good policy; they ultimately want 'equality,' for all, by bringing everyone down to the most common denominator; no rich or poor, no countries, no personal property, no religion.  They want to take away things that people tend to fight about until they have world peace.  The lyrics of Imagine by John Lennon illustrate this ultimate desire in song, the biggest problem being you have to crack a few eggs (kill people who disagree) to get your utopia of equality and world peace.

Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today... Aha-ah...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Jimmy Carter was not a good president.  But he was a good Christian man.  This is what he should have been honored for.  Because, in the final analysis, it's the only thing that matters, and the only thing that we take with us from this life.

After seeing what condition he was in, a lot of us were wondering if he actually said or expressed anything about voting - or if he was even able to.

Back in the 80's I listened to the testimony of a man who was living on the streets the first time he heard this song. When he heard the line:

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can

He laughed. "A man worth millions of dollars is telling me to imagine no possessions!"

It's amazing how few lyrics people actually listen to.

I recall a woman relaying the horror of being asked to sing a certain song at a wedding that everyone believes is a love song. And so, at the wedding, she sang with much embarrassment:

If I should stay
I would only be in your way
So I'll go, but I know
I'll think of you every step of the way

*And then the only line in the song people hear when it's played*

And I will always love you...

So the song was sung at an Christian funeral?  Does anyone see an problem with this?

Some of the lyrics are: 'Imagine there’s no heaven; it’s easy if you try' and 'imagine there’s no country; it isn’t hard to do. Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too.'

It is overtly atheistic in its message. Sure, I like the melody and being a Beatles fan in my youth (before belief in Jesus) I liked that song, but no more. Lyrics mean something, and the message is clear - secular humanism and everything that goes with it . . .

So some questions are begging to be asked:  Who made the decision approving that song? Did the family know? Most funerals the family decides how best to honor their loved ones who passed on. . . . still . . . this is just plain weird . . . Isn't it?

I can see this song being sung at a "Christian" funeral in our world today. Many of those so called "Christians" may think it was ok. Just the sad world we are living in right now.

The Beetles were used through masonic planning to bring change to the world, popularize esoteric beliefs as was Timothy Leery.

The UnitedNations Lucist Trust is a luciferian organization, masonic driven.

Former president Jimmy Carter was involved with the United Nations.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

in one of Melania Trumps speeches in Trumps first election, they had the song age of Aquarius playing just before her speech.

Just recently at Trumps Maralago party they were playing Trumps favourite song WMCA by the gay band village people. They showed Melania and Trump both  happily jiggling to the song.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
