This is a claim being shared. I was wondering if anyone had insights, or able to find information on this. (I found confirmation on lithium batteries being in smart meters, that overheated lithium batteries will explode, and a security cam video inside a house showing such an explosion - looks like a bomb went off. I have not found anything on the copper wiring.) There is a video I found showing claimed evidence I will post on the video forum to go with this.

Claim:

Smart meters have lithium ion batteries. When these batteries catch fire they have what's called "thermal runaway" where they will go from 140 degrees Fahrenheit to 6000 degrees Fahrenheit in just a few seconds. The smart meter is connected to the copper wiring of the home which is designed to travel electricity due to its conductivity. Along with being conductive, the copper wires are also great at heat transfer via convection.

So when the...fires hit neighborhoods but burn more homes than trees, the culprit in the unusual fire forensics looks to be the lithium ion batteries. It's no wonder these homes are burned to dust while trees are standing within feet of the houses. These homes are burning from the inside out, literally. The copper wires in the homes are insulated and carrying extreme heat to every corner of the home....

Well, it's true they have lithium batteries. And that when they ignite they do burn hot.

However there's a couple things to realize. First they're not all going to just spontaneously combust. The fire has to be there to begin with.

Second, yes they have them but they're not all that big. Maybe 2 inches by 1 inch. And they're just there if the power goes out, they're not even used. So yes if they were to ignite, they will burn hot, but not very long. I would suspect it would have little to no effect in a fire of this nature. It will flare up, cause the fire to burn hotter around the meter for a little while, but when the lithium runs out, which it will relatively quickly, it will go back to just wood and drywall burning.

As far as houses burning on not trees...

Laughable claim. Now don't get me wrong, there is indeed examples of this happening in these fires, and conspiracy theories have taken them and run. While ignoring the thousands of neighborhoods that have burned to the ground with not a single thing standing.

Fact is, fire does weird things. And the biggest contributer to a uncontrollable fire is actually humidity level. If the environment is super dry, like less then 5% humidity, if a fire gets out of control it can literally be impossible to put out, until it runs out of fuel.

And a fire like this, also burns fast. Houses are all made from dead materials. Wood, metal, etc. plants, like trees, are alive and have water flowing through them. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility that a fast moving fire in an arid environment will leave things like trees relatively unscathed, because it's moved on before that tree could catch.

It's not even unheard of in a straight up forest fires. I've walked through fresh burn sites in the forest, it's really really weird to be walking around seeing nothing but ash and burned trees and finding 2 or 3 live and untouched trees in the very middle of the burn area. Really makes you do a double take. But it does happen.

No one claimed spontaneous combustion, and the fire being there to begin with is a given.

You know how many destructive house fires I have seen where significant structure still remained? They didn't look like a bomb had taken the house out like we see in L.A.

While I was looking things up on lithium batteries and house fires, I saw a news clip showing a lithium battery fire explosion. It was like a bomb going off. (Go to YouTube and search: 'Expert: Lithium batteries may carry fire risks' from Fox 13 Seattle).

Doesn't matter how short lived the lithium fire is if the high-heat fire caught other things in the house on fire.

I get that. But after seeing the video of the explosion, it makes one consider the possibility of the batteries exasperating the destruction.

And I still don't know about the copper wires.

I know I refuse ti have a smart meter in my home as there are daily news reports here of them overcharging people by hundreds of pounds , catching fir and exploding , having to be changed every time you change your supplier ,,, not worth the risk

I get that. But after seeing the video of the explosion, it makes one consider the possibility of the batteries exasperating the destruction.

Yes, a lot of structure fires do indeed leave structure behind. And you want to know something else? A huge amount of them have smart meters with lithium batteries. A huge amount of them.

Do lithium batteries explode? Absolutely. But does a 2 inch battery have enough explosive damage to level a house? Absolutely not. That's absurd. And even if they did, with a fire this size, the house will be destroyed just as thoroughly without it.

And copper wires? I'm sorry I'm having a hard time not laughing. You know what exists in every single home in the country, and has been ever since electricity became a thing? Copper wires. It's in my house. It's in your house.

Common copper wire is 12 gauge. Trust me it gets that hot, it doesnt work the way you think it does-if it gets that hot it will just melt.

And you know what else? That lithium battery isn't even hooked to your homes electric system. It doesn't power your house. At all. All that it does, is supply power to your meter during a power outage.

You know what's not absurd? A huge fire, burning thousands upon thousands of acres, in a acrid environment, burning extremely hot. That's the key difference between this and a normal structure fire. It's the key difference that you, and other conspiracy theorists are flat out ignoring.

Why? Because it doesn't match up with your theory, and it doesn't like up with the originators agenda

I've come to the conclusion that a lot of these conspiracy theorists who originate these wildly insane ideas, don't even believe them themselves. They just know if they make such a claim, that people will believe them, which will lead to fame, money and power. Stop believing them.

Or at least question them with the same zeal you question the authorities.

I was asking a QUESTION.

Please look back at the question mark in the title. Please look at what I said initially in the OP. " I was wondering if anyone had insights, or able to find information on this."

I WAS QUESTIONING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please respond in a manner reflecting that of a question being asked.

A mocking, deriding, and accusing attitude and words are unhelpful. In fact, they're inflammatory. Please stop.

See here's the thing. You asked a question. I gave you an answer to your question. I literally provided you with insights into it, which is what you claim you want.

You then proceeded to argue with me and pretty much tell me I'm wrong.

Fact is you were not asking to gain insights, you were asking because you believe it's some sort of mass conspiracy, one that is being pushed by conservatives all over social media, and your angry, because I provided the insight you asked for and it doesn't line up with your agenda.

Don't get me wrong, you have a right to believe what you want. You have a right to present it. You have a right to believe in wrong.

But, doing all of this and then becoming angry when I poke holes in them, claiming innocence, doesn't work. It's pretty easy to see right through that story.

And telling you to question the conservative conspiracy news sources that your getting this from as strongly as you do the mainstream media is hardly inflammatory or accusatory, it's something everyone should do-question everything.

That is an incorrect assumption, sir.

It appeared to me the angle with which you responded was a different angle from which I was reading into the issue, and I was expressing such.

Perhaps I should have said, thank you for responding, but what your response was claiming things contrary to what I asked.

Did you look to see the video I mentioned, showing a lithium battery exploding?

Neb, there are small lithium batteries in smart meters and they can catch fire if they are shorted out. However if they got that hot the meter would explod outward and any heat would disapate in seconds. As for heating the copper wiring, it would melt inside the conduit before it got to the breaker box.  This idea would be physically impossible as to setting the house on fire.

As for the trees not burning, in fires of this nature really weird things can happen.  When the wind hits 90 mph, and the humidity has been really low, you can not stop a fire like this until it runs out of fuel. With embers like these they can blow bloks away to spread the fire. If the fuel has been left to burn, it's too late once it starts

Thanks. So the explosion goes outward, not all over and blowing a hole in the wall?

About the copper wiring, is what you are saying, basically, that copper has a lowish melting point with regards to the fire?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
