I agree on this.

“I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

        -Jesus

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

        -Jesus

I find in referring to the so-called "Lost" Tribes that the word "Lost" is a nothing more than a moniker that people have given to the Ten Tribes, but Scripture speaks nothing of them as "lost tribes."

Numerous times in the Prophets, God specifically included both, (10 tribes and Judah) in a promise to return to them.

A Tribe is all or any seed of that tribe. When God forsook the Northern 10 Tribes he gave them up forever as per being of Israel, because they loved sin more than God. But NO TRIBES were ever lost because God tells us this, and because 1.) We can use common sense and 2.) We can add up all the scriptural evidence and historical evidence.

Many people of those 10 Tribes hated the wicked northern kingdom and thus chose to live in Judea and/or Jerusalem. Likewise, some of the Judean tribes people who loved wickedness moved to the northern kingdom and got carried off with them. So, when God says He has saved Himself 7000 men, it doesn't 7000 actual men it means 7 x 10 x 10 x 10 or Divine Completeness x Completeness. There were men from all of those 10 tribes living in Judea, thus SEED SURVIVED, thus those living in Judea wereall 12 tribes but they all came to be known as Judeans or Jews because of WHERE THEY LIVED !! If an Irish family 100 years ago moved to New York, what are they known as today? New Yorkers or Americans. All 12 Tribes are called Jews today because the are from Judea. In Ezekiel 37 God says He will bring the WHOLE HOUSE of Israel back into the land, not just Jews. These people have no understanding about prophesy in general brother, they try to fit the bible to their beliefs on  prophesy.

Now for the historical facts, as Jerusalem was being surrounded by Assyria, they had to BUILD ONTO THE City more walls because they had so may refugees flooding in from the Northern Kingdoms, this is a well known fact, so there you have more men from the 12 tribes who survived in Judea. Anyone whom says there was ever any lost tribes just do nit understand biblical principles.

But they have the Gentiles taking Israel's place, so that is who they say we are, the lost tribes of Israel in many cases. God states emphatically that He forsook those tribes on purpose, they can come unto Christ by Faith, but they will never be a part of Israel again in God's eyes.

All 12 Tribes have never been separated, they were toted off by te Romans. known as Judeans (Jews) but they were all 12 Tribes, that is why in Ezekiel 37 God states He will bring the Whole House of Israel back into the land.

Yes, because the wrath prophesied in the law, was coming to those under the law. Christ came to save them from that at that time......

So, is that equating being lost as being "under the law?" (Jesus said "the lost," you rephrased it as "those under the law.")

I apologize if there is a connection you're trying to to get me to see, but I just can't find scripture that precedes that conclusion.

I understand that, if someone in the lineage of Jacob comes to Christ, he is no longer under the law, and no longer belongs to the Israel that will be punished...

But why would a gentile claim the name and promises of a nation, "Israel," who will be judged under the law?

I am equating it with being JEWS, and why to them first....They are judged by the law....Wrath was imminent

as for lost

Jer 50:6  My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.

That's contrary to every scripture posted in this thread.

You are more than welcome to believe that, but I can't deviate from what God actually said. He never said that.

26 minutes ago, Revelation Man said:

when God says He has saved Himself 7000 men, it doesn't 7000 actual men it means 7 x 10 x 10 x 10 or Divine Completeness x Completeness

So, "7000" actually means 7 x 10 x 10 x 10...

So, when I see a number, such as 7000, I should break down 7000 by taking the first number, "7," and multiplying it by the cubed root of 1000...

And then, when I see 7(10 x 10 x 10), I should automatically understand, by virtue of that mathematical series, that this is only to be understood as a reference to Divine Completeness multiplied by Completeness...

Do the men represent Divine Completeness multiplied by Completeness, or just their number, (which obviously isn't the number given)?

What Scriptural reference(s) will define this numerology you've used in interpreting this example?

The promises and covenants made to Abraham were fulfilled in Jesus Christ "The Seed" singular

Galatians 3:16KJV

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Even out of context, your paraphrase of this verse doesn't match with what it actually says.

-You removed Christ as the other recipient of the promises, (were those same promises made to Christ fulfilled in Christ also?)

-You added the word fulfilled.

-To validate your statement, you should provide scriptural references to the specific promises made to Abraham and his "seed," and how they were fulfilled.

I took the liberty to read it in context, and in the light of biblical prophecies and the stated promises, and still, nothing fits your interpretation.

I thank you for contributing to this thread.

It is why he came for the Jew's first (at that time). Tho provide an escape from God's wrath coming upon them only, because only they were judged by the law. It also provided a remnant....

Ro 9:29  And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

Total destruction of them all.

Lu 17:29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

God was going to do this before. Begin again with Moses...

9  And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10  Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
11  And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? {the LORD: Heb. the face of the LORD }
12  Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

Not for anything they had done, but rather the oath he swear Gen 22

The Abrahamic covenant
13  Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
14  And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Grace, mercy, respect from the Abrahamic covenant...
2 ki 13:23  And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

Christians are of Israel

Luke 1:11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end.

GEN 28

10And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. 11And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 13And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 14And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. 15And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

Gen 48:17And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head. 18And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head. 19And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

20And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Jacob Blesses his Sons

1And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

2Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.

3Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

4Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father's bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

5Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.

6O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

7Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

8Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's children shall bow down before thee.

9Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

13Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.

14Issachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens:

15And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.

16Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

17Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

18I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.

19Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.

20Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.

21Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

22Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

23The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

24But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

25Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

26The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

27Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil.

28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.

Isaiah 41:8But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

9Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

10Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Galatians 3:26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Deut 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

8When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

9For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
