actually plahzitito, it is not the end at all. Actually it is just the transition into eternity and should be something that we all should be looking forward to. I would agree that we must make sure that we are ready, but to put so much focus on it being the end sort of makes it look like we are wanting to keep the status quo, and at least for me, that is the last thing I really want to keep.

We are in the anti-typical, or spiritual fullfillment of the 'Day of Atonement', in which we are to afflict our souls for sin and put it away so that it can be placed on the head of the 'scapegoat', Satan and destroyed with him. The 'Day of Atonement' was not a feast of 'ceebration' but of contrition and repentance.
