2 – We are not appointed to wrath – This is a crucial reason the Rapture must occur before the Tribulation. Romans 5:9 says, “We shall be saved from wrath through Him.”

This is the common pre-Trib presumption that the Trib and the Wrath are the same thing. No such scripture says any such thing.

3 – We are covered by the blood – Few could argue that the Tribulation is a time of pain, wrath, God’s judgment, darkness, and destruction over evil, the Antichrist, and the earth.

Nowhere does Scripture say that the Trib is God's judgment.

4 – Zechariah 14:1-15 doesn’t mention a resurrection – This is an Old Testament picture of Jesus returning to earth at the Second Coming; yet again, there is no mention of any resurrection.

Because this Zech. 14 takes place long after the Rapture. Which fact doesn't prove pre-Trib in any way.

9 – Two doors in Heaven – In the Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 4:1, a door is opened. John the revelator is told, “Come up here.” As John is called to heaven to witness the Tribulation events unfold. This calling to heaven is prophetic of the church being caught up in the Rapture.

Pure presumption, again without without any Scriptural support.

12 – The Holy Ones are already in Heaven – Zechariah 14:5 indicates that the saints are already in heaven.

Which, once again, does not supply any evidence to support a pre-Trib Rapture. (E.g., would apply equally to a pre-Wrath Rapture.)

Please provide evidence for your position. It does no good to say "that's just a presumption" and think you have given enough information to show where I am wrong.

I don't mean a one-sentence statement, but counter each point with several paragraphs of showing where i am wrong.

It is up to you to prove that Trib and the Wrath are the same thing, since that is your argument.

The Parousia of the Lord, foretold in Math. 24:3-31ff., 1 Cor. 15:23ff., 1 Thes. 4:14-17, and 2 Thes. 2:8 (among other places), is the time of the resurrection of the dead and the rapture of the elect. That Parousia and the events thereof come "after the Tribulation" (Matt. 24:29), but before the Wrath:

1 Thes. 5:2  For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. ... 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ergo, the Tribulation before the Parousia, the Wrath immediately following the Parousia.

Not much has changed in the past 18 months or more.

First of all 1 Thes 5:9 implies only one thing; Receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, or experience Wrath, which is the Second Death.  Nothing to do with the wrath occurring during the 70 Week.  This verse was as valid when written as it is today.  Rev 20:15 - If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire, the Second Death of v 14.

This verse in 1 Thes does not support a Pre-Trib position or any other position relating to the 70th Week.  It is a non issue.

The Wrath of the latter half of the 70th Week, is no different than the Wrath that Sodom and Gomorrah experienced.  A time of people experiencing very bad things from God.

In Christ

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
