Godly parents also have to work to put a roof over their kids heads, feed and clothe them. Many cannot be home all day.

This is a solid point. Even if they're fortunate enough to be able to spend considerable time at home with the kids there's a whole world of pressure out there. I went to three different Christian schools when I grew up in the 80s and 90s and found that there could still be plenty of worldly influence.

Yeah I sent two of mine to Christian school for a few years as well. My Daughter has sent her two boys to Christian schools and it has not been easy. The point is she, as well as myself still paid taxes for public school on top of that. WE PAY FOR THIS, but that is not what we were supposed to be paying for.

Also it is not even just Christian parents at all. It violates the values of non Christian parents as well. Non Christian parents have a better sense of right and wrong with this than some Christians. Just like those Christian schools.

Paul was a rea:no_idea:lly worldly guy....

Ac 25:10  Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.

Paul was worldly until the Lord met him on the Damascus Road.

Conflating Paul's appeal to Caesar with modern day worldly politics is so misguided.  God promised Paul he would testify in Rome and before Caesar, not for any other reason than for the glory of God. (Acts 23:11)..

Modern day worldly politics where worldly men vote for other worldly men who then commit worldly acts to conform to the ways of the world is not of God but of the god of this world - the prince of the power of the air, Satan.

Peace

You prefer sending our young impressionable children to public school for lgbtq indoctrination?

Many make sacrifices to home school because they know there is no hope in the worldly education system.

As a high school teacher in California, I can say that this is true.  Still, this indoctrination is found in abundancy in the culture outside of school and if our children enter the workforce or college, this indoctrination will continue.  Solution:  Instill fire-resistant materials in our children (1 Corinthians 3:13).

It will get to the point (if not stopped) that homeschool will be forced to this as well.

I see good things given as God given. Good government....

The Kingdom of God is God-given and represents good government. There is no sin to be found in the Kingdom, but the same cannot be said of the nations of this earth. Repeating the same verse from proverbs doesn't change the conviction of sin upon all men and women.

None of us chose our country of origin, although some of us have changed countries. I suspect very few.

I found it interesting reading European thought and others across the world,  Surely I can't totally stereotype any of of it, however there are pockets of commonality same as here in the US. Many foreigners have a distorted view of the US due to Hollywood and television in general. I think that's going away as America has some serious sores that are exposed lately these last few years. Blue cities are falling apart. Some already have. The answer is generally, "we need more money for programs to correct the issues". Same thing is happening in Austria and Germany only the facade of historic buildings makes everything seem more ok.Similar in much of the world. Lots of these countries hide their poor with Japan being one. You can find the problems if you decided to look.

What am I saying? Just making the point that modern thought is to raise taxes and create social programs. Works ok for 30 or 40 years until it starts to tip the wrong way in a questionable economy. Higher output incomes and businesses go somewhere else to escape the high taxes, crime and diminishing quality of those programs and life in general.

At that point it doesn't much matter who you vote for IMO. Sure the republicans over here have been trying to plug the holes, but I'm not sure they can be plugged in time to save things. If we are going to stop imports we had better start making stuff. The three horses are coming though. The word is changing. About half of our country hates the powers that be in addition to other forces working against us.

Vote, sure. Pray?? Absolutely. Worry? Never.

It is scripture. And no nation is righteous 100% of the time. Under righteous judges, then under righteous kings, Isreal was righteous at points in history. At those points in time they did well and prospered as God promised them.

As I said, it is scripture. We are not of the world, but still in it. Period.

One major problem is/was the agencies have/had been created to cancel our votes. Nothing changed no matter who we put in office anywhere. Epa, to the department of education.. etc. These agencies continued to rule with no accountability to the voters. President, senators, congressman. did not matter. They gave power to these unelected people to run things.

The Chevron decision was a part of plugging that hole....

From NPR

"In a momentous decision that will affect vast swaths of American life, the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday undid decades of regulatory law, making it far more difficult for federal agencies to issue rules and regulations that carry out broad mandates enacted by Congress. The vote, along ideological lines, was 6-to-3."

Broad mandates...

Giving authority to certain experts in these agencies was a mistake. So it was undone.

As for things being turned around, I pray it can, and do what we are able. But if not God reigns either way...It will be what it will be.

Dan 4:25  That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
