It's Getting Real.

OPINION

For those unaware, the “Real I.D. Act” takes effect in a few days (May 7, 2025). A significant change to law and freedom is about to transpire. It is an extension of 9-11 and the Patriot Act, diminishing our liberties (your papers, please).

I am not a legal expert, nor have I played one on TV. Still, I think a case can be made violating the 4^th Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.^[1]

The Real ID Act is in lockstep with the biometric information (facial recognition, thumbprint, and DNA collection) gathered to do business (buy and sell) and freedom of travel between states and globally.  

What does this Act mean, and what is its future potential? I am still a licensed pilot. Does this mean I also have to have this ID and my FAA-issued certificate to fly across state boundaries? Would this ID have stopped the Muslim terrorists from crashing into the Twin Towers?  

The government is claiming it is somewhat like a speed pass. Without it, you must jump through hoops and be delayed or miss your domestic flight within CONUS. We will not be allowed entrance into any Federal building. That works for me with any IRS audit, but what about VA Hospitals and other critical services?

Not by force of law, but we remember the attempts to stop and restrict any travel of US citizens during the COVID-19 fiasco, and proof of the one jab, and you’re done.

The ID Act may seem trivial and a minor inconvenience to most, but it is linked to the UN Agenda 2021 and 2030, the New World Order.

Our liberty and freedoms are being dismantled one little piece at a time, as with the rest of the world, with the population as quiet as a church mouse.

It is incredible the foresight our founding fathers had and the Constitutional Republic they bequeathed to us. The mantra of liberals and enemies of liberty is the Constitution of the United States of America is antiquated and in need of updating to modern times. Horse rubbish!

Just a thought about access to VA facilities. If one is registered with the VA, the VA ID card should suffice. I don't foresee this interfering with veteran access, though of course I could be mistaken.

This is my concern as well. Right now yes, it's not going to affect a lot of people, but I could certainly see it getting bigger over time and becoming mandatory. Euthanasia drew criticism over what I see as a similar principle, namely the concern that somewhere down the line a right to die at a point of one's choosing would eventually become an obligation to die at a point of someone else's choosing. I see the ID Act gradually getting more and more attached to it and getting more and more intrusive.

Last time I flew through Atlanta broke me from flying that was 20 years ago. I do not fly so I do not need a real ID wonder how long before I will be required to have it.

Don't worry God has saves us and things are gonna get worst. But still if we had another joe biden term or Kamala Harris they would of done worst. Be thankful for the lord is gonna save us. Be prepared for 2050 agenda and the 2090 agenda the elite wants to destroy this planet and God will decide not them.

What is Real ID in a nutshell? It verifies your citizenship status. It can be used in lieu of a passport or birth certificate in some cases because a birth certificate is required to acquire a "Real ID" driver's license or state ID card. Seeing as how I help my clients obtain important documents like their birth certificate (also the form DD-214 for military vets), Social Security card, acquire a phone, get access to medical care, get housing, and so forth, it's easy for them to acquire a Real ID. Those sorts of documents are typically lost during homelessness and so, once they get a Real ID, they never have to worry if they lose their birth certificate again (that happens). 

All they have to do is renew their Real ID driver's license or state ID. No need to furnish those documents again.

I don't see this as a matter of concern.

The ID by itself is not bad but connected to the CBDC (no cash) it will then be controlled as to how we can spend our money. Finally, it will be linked to allegiance (worship) of the A/C. And of course we are not there for that.
